The latest version is 0.42a, you should download it as it has some bug fixes

I got these in the middle of extracting them to my psp. Hope its not a problem.

Can I delete the corrupted data icons in my memory stick under game? I have to working icons Devhook0.41 and Devhook0.42. But wow you guide is kinda complicated.

Just downgraded from 2.6 to 1.5 and am using Homebrew for the 1st time!
Quick question in relation to Devhook:
Am running latest version 0.42b and so far so good. Just one slight issue: How does one return to the PSP System menus. Usually I would press the Home button, be prompted to exit, select Yes and I am back at the "Home Menus" but when running games with Devhook it seems to hang.
Maybe I just need to power down to get back to the base menus or is there something I am missing?
Cheers in advance for any info!

You should be able to press home and be taken back to the main menu, how long does it hang for???

It seems to be hanging indefinetley... I usually end up holding the power button for 10 seconds to shutdown.

Just to confirm:
I have an ISO loaded with Devhook
I want to quit to the PSP Home Menus
I press the Home button
I am prompted with "Do you want to quit the game?"
I select "Yes"
"Please wait..." appears
Seems to sit there and do nothing, have to power down.
Not the end of the world or anything but would be handy if it worked properly.
Any advice or info?

Sorry mate, haven't had that problem. I'm using devhook 0.41, maybe it's a problem with 0.42???

Can anyone point me to a good tutorial which will guide me on the software to use and the steps required to extract a UMD game and generate a Devhook playable ISO?

It is a problem with DH v0.42b that The HOME button appears not to work properly for some. and it can be the game that you use that freezes when you quit(like Daxter).
Get the Fastloader to dump your UMD to ISO.
Here is how you make an iso after you fix it.
In the Umdgen v3.02 right window put(drag) the PSP_GAME file and UMD_DATA file(or the iso).then go to File and Save As (iso).
Do you have the VCDRomX_English 3.6(some game need it)?When you fist open VCD you will see a small window that you will close.then in the right window put(drag) the PSP_GAME file and UMD_DATA file.Press File and Build VCDROM or Ctrl+B and then put the name you want to save it as in the window.When it's done press File and Convert File and in the new window get the vcdrom you made and convert to ISO.

No you can't delete the corrupt data icons, however you can use a program called SEI PSP Tool (go to http://www.psp-hacks.com ) to get rid of them. Sorry if my guide was complicated, which part was complicated? I could try simplify it if you want.

Hmm, that might not be a problem if you emulate the 2.5 firmware (as those files that were not extracted were a part of the 2.00 firmware).
There is also yet another new DevHook (0.42b), you might want to try that as well (http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/612 ).

I joined your site if you would rather talk there? But I think the problem was the aneans tool. But now I got the all you need tool it might work. THANX for all the help!
edit- Theres a sdk folder with the new devhook do I need to do anything with that?

Yeah I think that Aneas decrypter is a bit stuffed up, just use DecryptPRX instead.
