cant get any iso to work for devhook 0.41d help would be much appreciated

i tried downloading the new dev hook launcher,but i can't seem to run iso games from my memory stick,i tried the "breath of fire" method but a problem occurs wherein it says "game could not be started error 800.." what can i do now,im kinda not familiar with techno stuff :) hope to have some help,tnx.

yup i think so, i downloaded it from psp-hacks.com,it was actually a link i accessed from one of the threads. how can i check if its complete?is that why it says game could not be started??thank you so much for the help.and do games downloaded thru torrents work?

One way of knowing is how long it took to transfer the folders to your psp, if it only took a few secs then you probably didn't get the full version, if it took a couple of minutes then you probably have.
Downloaded games through torrents do work, haven't come across any that haven't so far.
Where have you put the devhook and ISO folders?

the iso folder in the root,thats where i put the iso's,dev hook was in the games folder,can you send a file of the complete version of the devhook?or just a link would do..thanks so much..

Have you put the dh folder in the root of your memory stick? And there should be DEVHOOK and DEVHOOK% in the game folder.

Yes they are my good man. Devhook actually emulates the 2.50 firmware which means you can have the full functionality of 2.50 without updating.

hey guys, I have been looking at this forum and searching the net for days trying to find a guide oN using devhook 014d it is installed on my psp I just can find where to put the iso's i have tried to create an ISO folder in the root and put iso's in there but when you press 'O' to play psp just goes black then switches off so if anyone could point me in the right direction i would be greatfull or advise me of a better loader than devhook. cheers guys

What games are you trying to play daz?
@gerantan I would imagine the 13mb would be the full version with the eboots already installed. I used the version without them and installed them myself but it's obviously easier to get the full one.

tnx but how do i launch the iso's?any idea how to make it work?i had marvel nemesis,which worked fine with devhook v.02 but doesnt really work for thw 0.41d,then my fifa street dont also work,a little help on booting?tnx.. :)

i tried world series of poker and also fifa street two and got the same thing with both, it is most probably somethin i done wrong but all the but's of info i keep picking up are random scatteresd all over the net hope you can help me. cheers

Don't know about the poker game but I have FIFA Street 2 running on my psp at the mo, tbh it's not really worth the hassle but I'll let you make your own mind up.
As long as you both have your folders where I said and the eboots installed then the game should work with the following settings in devhook....
UMD Select - select your ISO
UMD Mount - ISO ANYUMD
UMD Version - 2.xx-->2.0
Firmware - 2.5
CPU Cock - 222/111MhZ
Boot Select - Reboot XMB
I also noticed that you can't use a movie UMD, it has to be a game or a demo. I spent ages trying to work out what I was doing wrong then swapped UMDs and worked fine.#

Mate there isn't anything simpler, it's really easy as long as you have the folders in the right place and are using the right settings. It's no different to using umdemulator, fastloader or any of the other loaders.
