1st off my cpu kicks urs all over the place, it is OC's but that's beside the point
you don't need 3 HDDs or GBs of RAM unless ur gaming and doing web/grapgic design and other high demending ram apps. Judging by the 6600, ur not a hardcore gamer, or else on a tight budget. 6800 GS good card, SLI ready, on most, and great value.
as for the 3 HDDs, all you need to know is 3 words, torrents and Bitcomet

YES, the 7900 kicks the crap out of the 6600 and mine is in SLI mode, meaning I ahve 2 of them, the X2 models are 3rd best on the market.
6600 should be good for WoW, america's army, ok, i don't play it, get Counter Strike 1.6 and a 6800GS

just get a amd athlon processor or better A MINIMUM OF 2GHZ NO LESS, 1gigabytes of ram should be enough, 200gb hard drive, 2 nvidia sli cards model 7000+ and oh yeah more importantly try and get a asus motherboard there usually the best for gamers and overclockers...you should be able to play most of the games out today and anything coming out for the next couple of years
and, no do not go with intel if ur gonna game
stick with a socket 939, mobo and processor, am2 is good and all but it doesnt offer a big performance leap over 939,
oh yeah, you wont really need to get a sound card onboard is usually good, but it really depends do you want a, bang or a booom

I recommend getting two Sata HDDs. Two drives tend to increase system performance because each can be accessed simultaneously as long as they are on different channels. Make sure you look at your board specs and get the approprate SATA i.e. regular SATA or SATA-II (3.0 GB).
-Do you believe you own your computer and shouldn't be told what you can run and do? Then say *NO* to Microsoft Vista!
-Since half the questions here involve media problems, here ya go: Only use Verbatim or Taiyo-Yuden discs (get your TYs from Rima.com, not Supermediastore or meritline). Forget the rest, no matter what "brand" they sell under. Always burn at 4x speed regardless of the speed rating of this discs or your drive. If you have burn problems with these then you have to update your drive's firmware. For double-layer discs, only use Verbatim DVD+R DL and burn them at 2.4x speed.
