talkin about downgraders. i got the job to upgrade my bros 2.01 to 2.5 and down to 1.5, im sh!tting myself lol

lol donnt worry, it's easy just make sure his psp aint a TA-082 or you will be worrying.

i dont know about the easy downgrader but it is supposed to be really easy to use as it tells you what to do and where to place the files but i havn't used it so i can't tell you if it is good sorry but i have heard it is really good

cool, everything should be ok, but if anything happens and it bricks, ill send it back to sony as its still under warranty, and say i lostpower during an update, whooops!!!!!! lol
and btw, do you have to ring sony and say you are returning it ?

ok thanks, i doubt anything will go wrong, but theres always the possibility lol, and 1 more thing, when the psp goes off and the memstick is flashing, at what point do you then reboot it ?

after it has stopped flashing it should reboot by itself, if not and the memory stick has stopped flashing then wait a couple of minutes then do a hard reboot and then turn it back on if it flashed successfully then you will get a 1.5 psp if not it could either of not worked or bricked. oh and robby316 im uploading the files from a 1.5 psp to megaupload now

@ hodgins:
You will know to reboot it when you see a screen come up that says something went wrong (don't worry) and it will be in a bunch of diff languages. Russian, Chinese, etc... At that point, it just says to press O to restored default settings. Do that and the PSP will reset ITSELF and then you will have to redo your setting (nick, date, etc.) I know this b/c I did it from 2.00->1.50 NUMEROUS times and then I watched a video on a 2.60->1.50 downgrade to see if it was any different. It was the EXACT same! It's easy and you'll know EXACTLY what to do, hodgins. Nothing will go wrong. The ONLY way you can brick your PSP is if you don't know what you're doing... That's the only reason they give the warning about bricking. B/c if my mum picked up my PSP and tried to downgrade it, she might brick, but if you know ANYTHING about the PSP, you WILL NOT brick it.

Looks like I'm going all the way back to this one...
um, who said I was using photoshop? (Is that what you were implying? Other ppl have thought that, that's why I ask. Guess I just gots MAD SKILLZ!) I simply use MS Paint.
