hi s3a can u give me downdater please
what do u mean by that you have to get the folder called 2.50 and copy it to this location on your psp: E:/PSP/GAME ("E" replaced by what letter your psp occupies) (if you have a firmware 2.60, you do the same thing but copy and paste the folder called 2.60)
were do i find that or can u give it me i have version 2.50
and am scared of damaging it i need simple help
can u explain that line in top 4 me please

my psp drive letter is i so what deos that mean by replaced by what letter your psp occupies please help me and show me were to extract witch files please dont get mad at me

Well mate, your drives name is i. Just double click that drive. You will now be in the psp itself. Click on the psp folder and then the game folder.

@stud911 ye u can just go in the internet on ur psp and write down www.mob.e-messenger.net just don let any1 else use it or jus delete the history for it is very easy to get ur password

To clear things up-
Any PSP with the TA-082 motherboard, which actually seems to be limited to the Asia region (possibly Australia, for any Aussies out there) and tend to be upgraded to 2.5 or 2.6 firmwares.
I have looked in this thread and the success thread at QuickJump, and both have had at least one forum user with a European 2.5/2.6 factory PSP successfully downgraded to 1.5.
For copies of GTA:LCS, either rent it, or if you live in Australia, look for an original copy or a pre-played one. I haven't checked at the place where I worked, but I bought my Australian PSP in...March? April? Somewhere around there-and it came 2.01. So I was lucky...kind of.
I bought GTA:LCS as soon as I heard you could play homebrew on it via eLoader, and my friends were surprised since no one else had a 2.5/2.6 PSP with eLoader and either had the original 1.0 Jap PSPs and 1.5 firmwares running UMDLoaders.
And little did I know that later on, about three months later, that I could go about downgrading to 1.5 from 2.6! And so with glee, I downloaded the 13MB Easy Downgrader Full Pack, which is voice guided and contains all the files you need. I can say that I was not afraid with the procedure, and at the end of it, it resetted itself, and out came a 1.5 PSP, which I must say I have had some fun with, though not to the full extent of one of my friends, who has had a 1.5 ever since he bought a 2.0 PSP and downgraded.

Hey can someone PLEASE give me their 1.5 helper files in order to downgrade my 2.6. Im trying to use a 2.6 downgrader that requires 1.5 helper files. Im using this downgrader cause its more reliable than this method.
so if someone would kindly email a copy of their files to my email: cerebralocelot@hotmail.com it would be appreciated
ive been trying to downgrade my psp for months, ive only learned about the 1.5 version abilities when it was too late :(
