I hate 2.70, I hope that after DevHook can emulate it, Dark_Alex will start looking at the contents of it so he can find an exploit in it.

That devhook edit from psp-hacks is awesome, I especially like the custom eboot. It justs needs the vshex 1.5 exit mod thing and it will be very near perfect. Any news anywhere on Outrun C2C iso working with this yet?

DevHook is an ISO loader. It can now run 2.6 UMDs and ISOs which previously could not be run. It does this by emulating firmware 2.6. And soon it will also be able to emulate Firmware 2.7.

Anyone know how to install firmware 2.6 into devhook? I used the installer and it didnt work. In the read me it says u have to copy the file urself but i dont understand. I just used a DBZ UMD to get the 2.6 update files.
PS3...it only does everything(that Sony allows it to)

It emulates firmware. So you are able to run firmware 2.6 on firmware 2.7
No, there will not be one for 2.7, but firmware 2.7 will be emulated on firmware 1.5 soon (so basically you run DevHook and it seems like you have upgraded to firmware 2.7, then when you reset it goes back to firmware 1.5).

No problem

Basically, many ISOs that were impossible to run before can be run now. Including Coast to Coast!

That is the gameboot. I'll do some tinkering with the flash files to see if I can change it back to the original.
EDIT: OK, I found out where it is. Go to dh\260\flash0\vsh\resource\ and you will find a file called gameboot.pmf. Delete it. Then rename "Original Gameboot.pmf" to gameboot.pmf, thats it!
