Okay before I tell you what exactly this is, I need three resources.
1. A tutorial on how to use interactive flash. Don't worry i'll learn quickly.
2. A 1.50 Firmware Dump
3. A 2.70 Firmware Dump, maybe 2.71 if you guys want a downgrade for that.
Okay so what I am thinking of is a way to downgrade 2.70, maybe 2.71 I have 2.70 and i'm not upgrading just because i'm sick of it. So what I want to make is an interactive .swf that you can open. Also, you will probably have to put the firmware dump files in the same folder or something- i will write it in the coding. For example say one of the files on 2.70 is 2.70 blah blah blah.prx or whatever. In the flash application, I will write it so it will say: Replace: Flash0(or Flash1 i'm not sure which)/2.70.prx with: PSP/COMMON/1.50Dump/1.50.prx. Get it? Got it? Goooood. Okay so hopefully this will replace every file from the 2.70 firmware with the 1.50 firmware things. Unfortunately, I will have to rewrite it for 2.71, but basically anything that said Flash0/2.70.prx will be replaced with Flash0/2.71.prx or whatever is necessary for the 2.71 version.
Anyone have any of these resources? PM me, or just respond with a link or something. Thank you I really hope I can pull this off.

Well I saw the thread where hodgins said you should PM me, and I felt kind of respected. Plus I want to get a little publicity, and I want to tell Sony I mean business. And I know how darn annoying it is for 2.70/2.71 users. I guess it was kind of an inspiration. BTW do you think this might work?

devhook .44 only emulates 2.71 so you can load games easier on 1.5

The only thing is it might give you an out of memory error so you have to make the files as small as you can or maybee make it exit the browser some how

Sorry to dissappoint you.
But...
Sony has probably restricted flash apps, so they can not access the flash0:/ and flash1:/ of the PSP.
So whats the theory behind this? Have you found an exploit?

OMG I know how to program flash using ActionScript and you can't do anything like this with it.
Come on, think about it!

Is seems like sony always leaves room for an exploit in each firmware, if this dosnt work someone will defintly find an exploit eventually
