The guys at homebrew271.googlepages.com admitted that the tester "lied" that the downgrader didn't work and that it is fake. For some weird reason it seems like that site is made by Sony so they could wreck your PSP so you buy a new one or so it upgrades you to 2.8. Then again they could also be complete hacking n00bs.
