Sorry Guys,

I've downloaded that now, Im stuck for GTA, does anyone have the special file from the UMD or do I have to try and grab it off ebay ?

How do I know which is the right one ?

Is the one I want, I'll take a look on the boxes in the rental store.

I presume that this version of GTA was written for 1.5 firmware (like homebrew etc) and it needs to re-patch the firmware down for the benefit of the game etc ? Surely someone has taken this file off with and ISO ripper etc and put it on the net as a standalone program by now ?

Anyhows, I'll take a trip to the rental store.

Mike i dont quite think thats the reason, i was always lead to believe that the unpatched version allowed your to play certain homebrew via the game save feature on the 2.5/2.6 and then later became a huge part of the downgrade scene but i may be wrong but thats a huge part as far as i know

Firstly I must apologise because this still isnt quite making sense, but Ive just purchased an ex-rental of the game but when I try to run the game, after the title sequence it shows a black screen with the title in white and red at the top and a disclaimer at the bottom about any coincidence between this game and anyone living etc and then it just freezes there.

I Can't see how a saved game unlocks the PSP or why mine is freezing.

Once again, sorry for being a bit thick here guys

i have a noob question....how can i know if the gta is unpatched w/o checking it coz even if i check it i have 2.60...?and where can i get them mostly they sell new ones..
