Has anyone heard or seen a DAX-ZISO Loader before? if so pls. reply and tell me how to use it b-cuz I dont know how.

Well, yea but still by using DevHook the game woulnt load, itll just freeze on me.

Then you got some wrong settings. Did you download the ultimate installer for devhook? If so which version?

well eternalis gave me an address to download something dealing with devhook, but hey maybe i could use wat you said about an ultimate installer for devhook.

Finally I got it. Use these settings with devhook
UMD SELECT - iso you wanna play
UMD MOUNT - ISO ANYUMD
UMD VERSION - 2.xx --> 2.00
FIRMWARE - 2.71
CPU CLOCK - 222
BOOT SELECT - reboot xmb
and leave other where it is.
Post back if it works.

yes delete devhook .22. And go download the package I linked you to. Then try the settings I posted above with the game you wanna play and post back results.

Hey i dont get this installation thing... do i have to connect my PSP and install the files into the root of my MS?

Just plug in your psp and go to usb connection. Initialize the connection and then start the devhook installer. It will ask what drive your psp is. Make sure to point it to the right drive and it does the rest.

Hiya guys been away from the seen for abit, I have always used DAXzISO, and the great thing about it is the compression, u can compress these to really small size, what the advantage of using devhook over DAXZISO?

because you can compress iso's into cso's which are better than dax, and devhook is the only loader that loads cso's

so CSO's give you better compression then DAXziso? sorry I probably sound like an echo there!
and to install the Devhok all I have to do is download the 0.45 devhook exe point it to my psp drive and run the exe and the installer will do the rest?
Do I need to do anything with the firmware?
where do I get the tool to compress the iso's into CSO?

cheers dude, i got the download and I did a quick test and it seems as DAXZISO has better compression ratio then the CSO files, and its alot quicker to compress using DAXZ compresser, cheers for ur help, but for time being i think im gonna stick with DAX

but your limited to what games you can load then, devhook can load almost any iso, and dax is only up to 2.00 i think :)

hi folks, i just wanted to ask what the difference is between daxziso and devhook then i found this thread. thank you ;-)
well, i've got another question. i just downloaded an iso but the ending is not "xyz.iso" it is "xyz.dax" (xyz stand for the name of the game). I've installed devhook 0.44 (which really is great!!!!!), can i start games with the "DAX" ending? or do i have to convert it to a "normal" ISO file? And when yes, which proggy do i have to use ?

I believe DevHook can only run .iso and .cso files
This would be my name but its 10 letters long and AD only allows 9 :P |
