Game's not having sounds is from people ripping it out to make the iso file smaller. You can use devhook to load MXVSATV.

hey Hex', do you mind answering this question for me?

I want to know how to select and play a game without using UMDEmulator. I want to just turn on my PSP, go to "Games", and select an icon of the game and just play from there. Instead of having to select an .ISO from UMDEmulator. Do you know how to accomplish this? If so can you share your knowledge cuz' i want to know how. Thanks, Oh... BTW nice M-16.

Thanx...thats my baby and I'm deadly accurate with it :). Yeah u can do that but that method was achieved with older games and was nicked "gameloaders". Honestly the best way is with devhook. You can play all games, unlike UMDEMU. And once you boot devhook into the 2.71 firmware you can change the games by pressing home + L shoulder button. You will see visual confirmation at the bottom when the .iso file changes.

well my Lemmings games is like wat they call a "gameloader", you dont need to select the ISO with Devhook, it has its own icon or pic on the menu of games. Lemmings is a 2006 European game isnt it?

Hey Hex i've got my 2.5 PSP successfully downgraded to 1.5, have installed Devhook, and an ISO for Street Fighter is on there. everytime i try to load it, with Devhook or DAX my system restarts and freezes on the startup screen. i tried the settings you posted on the first page of this thread and had the same results... any ideas?

When using DevHook you have to have a UMD inserted to play a game off the mem stick.
