usb problem

hmmm this just started happening today but when i plug my PSP into my comp the mem stick fails to pop up as a drive. I hear the confirmation noise that a USB device is connected and in the "Remove USB Devices Safely" window it is listed as K: as it always was before, but i dont see K: in my computer and when i try to type it as address it says path could not be found. It didnt work once earlier so i simply restarted my PSP and it worked and i put the new hello world on my 2.71 and now im tryin to take it off but my PSP's memstick wont show up for me to access. Any ideas on what the problem is or how to fix it?

http://www.hellochild.da.ru/ go there and in the far right in links select the psp tester, follow the on screen instruction,it will check everything and will give you an overall status of the psp , report back with what it say, and we can help further ;)

it means you psp will soon become unusable, ever heard of a psp brick, you havent been using something like pspersonalize or xflash etc lately have you :O

uhm its a version 2.71 all i did was run the new hello world i never ran any homebrew on it and have just used it for general use wtf happened?
and no i dont think the warranty is still there i bought it like a month after it was first released but was stupid and kept on updating cos i was hearing about homebrew before devhook and i didnt like it so i updated and stopped paying attn till i got2.6 and every1 said omg 2.6 downgrader = impossible so i updated to 2.71 and then they released a downgrader and i got pissed... but yeah i havent used it for anything sony wudnt like other than that hello world

well your waranty will still be valid then
get in touch with sony and they will send you a replace ment
its weird i use that ll the time a very usefull tool this aint looking good for you mate

well it happened once before i ran the hello world. pretty much all i did was play tekken on my PSP and use the internet a lil what could have possibly caused this? and would updating to 2.8 possibly fix this?
and it still works fine besides teh USB what would cause it to stop working?

well do you have a memory card reader try the card in the reader see if it recognises :), well im outta here see you guys(and some gals) lol tomorrow :D peace !! lol
