I have 4 videos that I would like to burn together on one DVD plate, but Nero demands me to put a CD instead of a DVD. How can I change that, so that I have files burned in VCD format on a DVD Rom? Thanks, Adrian
first you have to convert the file to be dvd complyment, thain you can burn to dvd, vso convertxtodvd works great, it has a 21 day trial but it leaves a watermark on the project until you buy the program when you buy the program you get a key and it unlocks your program and it will not leave a watermark. hope that helps happy burning good luck have a nice day
Is there a compelling reason why you want to put VCDs onto a DVD and leave them as VCDs? It's a bit complicated to do this. It's usually better just to import the VCD mpegs into NeroVision Express and then just let NVE make them DVD compliant. You can also add a menu if desired.
As rdmercer pointed out, there are several conversion programs available to convert a variety of video formats into a DVD compliant one.
The reason Nero is requesting a CD instead of a DVD is likely because you selected VCD or SVCD as the project type. Both are CD video formats. You need to select a DVD Video as the type of project.
Hi, yea, over the last days I grasped that I must reconvert my files into DVD video and not VCD. I have one problem though. I have DVD LAB Pro and tried to convert my ppg files, however it doesn't accept 23 fpsframerate and neither its sound. When it gets converted by the program to the properties of NSTC 29 fps I lose sync between sound and video. Tried to change audio and video separately and then merge them, but I don't succeed. My latest idea is to Demux audio and convert it to AC3, which surprisingly works fine no matter if it's 23 or 29 fps in the video and the video could be changed to 29 muted, so there's no audio-video conflict. Do you really think converting mp3 audio to AC3 can make it work regardless of framerate?
