Ermm tried that ......detling fastloader......but hell it doesnt work....What you mean by fw.....? :S .........confused......use easy words......im only 13.....i dont get what i mean by fomatting the memory card?

Go to system settings and then system information to see what version of firmware your psp is.

You might wanna try upgrading to 2.5/2.6 (would need unpatched GTA:LCS to downgrade) or 2.71 and use the easy downgrader that doesnt need GTA:LCS. Are you absolutely sure your's is 2.0 and someone didnt take a version changer to it? the way the downgrader comes packaged you can copy all the things to the root of the memstick have you also tried doing it that way?

Well i dunno , coz i got it in hong kong.....last christmas.....they installed fastloader for mee and everything with iso.....When i played on it....with umd i noticed that is didnt work....i think they kinda donwgraded it for me or something......I dunno.....It was the japanese dash game...which didnt work on my psp....Though i remembered that i saw a black screen with numbers on it....so i guess it was downgrading

When did you see the white numbers on the screen. that means that the 2.0 downgrader has done its job. Teh 2.0 downgrader doesnt actually downgrade your psp. It just changes the version number which allows you to run the 1.5 eboot.

no i mean back at christmas 2005 when i brought it....the people at the shop downgrade it for me i think.....as i saw numbers on the screen and thats downgrading screen rite? I'll try putting all the files in the main memory directory like you said... rather than just in the files they said on psphacks.com

Hold on before you go through all that lemme link you to sometihng that is setup so all you have to do is copy it to the root rather then manually putting each file in its place.

arghh that new downgrader was the closest i got to downgrading.....but the downgrading file when you open it up on the game part.....doesnt work.....nooo.....soo close.....and yes i installed the eloader

go 2 www.psp-hacks.com and they will help you its something called the 2.71 downgrader thats what helped me i just did it an hour ago and it took me 2 restart it 3 times but i had 2 use my 32 mb card in it because it would'nt do it on my 512 card but it loaded all the stuff on there itself so you dont have 2 do it but i was praying and it did it now im running homebrews if you have anymore questions i will answer them

yeah sounds like the auto installer. I would go to noobz.eu and make sure to download the auto installer for it. before you install it I would format the memstick and also backup your game saves. im pretty sure u know to download the easy 2.0/2.01 downgrader. Then install that and see how it goes. Make sure to read the readme also. Those can be very informative as to what to do. If you need more help post back.

Man no downgrader worsk on my psp its sucks >.<...........man i read and followed it.....used the auto installer for eloader.....didn't put any files in the wong place....Re formatted my memory stick .Then when you click on the easy downgrader file on your game......it looks like its going to work.....but then it goes dark.....then says erros ....(some bunches of numbers) game canot be started....Owelll i give up.....Is there any other way you can downgrade a 2.71 psp without needing the files from a 1.5?
