well I guess I'm going to have to try it...... I went and see my list and I have this game but it still in it plastic...never tried it oups!!!got to open it and try it pretty soon after I 'm done with dragon quest 8...did some try this game...well not this game but the final fantasy demo? if yes could you comment

Yeah I played dragon quest 8 and the fnal fantasy demo. The new final fantasy is coming out soon (the full version) and it should be good.

Anyone played Disgaea 2 or Atelier Iris 2? Im wanting a new RPG to play after Dragon Quest 8 and was wondering which one was better? Also theres Valkerie Profile 2 out as well, anyone know if thats any good?

@ everyone lol yeah it easy to forget alot of shit hell half of those games I didnt even get the chance to play because they are good time consumin games pluss (workin or girlfriends) biggg factors but Suikuden my cuzz loved that series and told me to play that , the Legend of Dragoon , the same cuzz showed me the action on it and I was like wow that was a slept on game and could easily fight final fantasy 7 for the number 1 spot , and I didnt even play it lmao just saw it !. I guess since the ps3 is comin I will get the chance to play it and alot of other shit. ps1 had so many great rpg's that its scary even other people posted some great ones that I missed . Alundra was another one ,it was like Zelda . Face you are right Sony is smokin somethin not to continue that series it coulda been big

Disgaea (1 or 2) is not a rpg, it's a tactic rpg and is very different from standart j-rpg, if you like long and strategic battles disgaea 2 is a very good tactic rpg, long, deep and fun.
Atelier Iris is a 100% classic game and it feels like a Snes rpg, it's not great, but it's not bad either.
Valkyrie Profile Silmeria is problably the better of all 3, it's not very conventional but it's very interesting and the battle system rocks.

Yeah I actually have played Atelier Iris 2. Surprisenly it is good. It's also funny because of the art desighn. But if you are looking for a challenging rpg this is not the one to go for it is easy.

I cant believe no one has mentioned Shadow hearts or Shadow hearts 2 Covenant definetly the best two Rpg's for the PS2 by far whooped Final Fantasy X. the Best Final Fantasy Is most definetly FF5 for Snes i hope they ditch their idea of remaking FF7 for PS3 if theyre thinking about it, and remake this instead.

the weapons kick ass thats why that game was so great to me ,Ruby was a Monster! , I never gave him a fight I needed way more levelin up . Emerald was not that hard I would get in his shit but the time would run out ,and sometimes he would kick my ass it was 50/50. diamond was not hard really he was the weakest of them since he was in the storyline you had to fight him. I need to play again so I can beat Ruby and Emerald. there was a guy that said he beat them on this site , without Knights and clouds omnislash. thats very hard hell it was hard even with Knights when I fought Ruby . look in the final fantasy 7 (Remake) thread

At that time I had a walkthrough guide it cost me like 20 dollars but it was for me to get all the bonus stuff.

same thing here but one thing the walkthrough din't help me with was the chocobos.....and every body know that you need one to get the knight of the round. I tried millions of combination but was only capable of creating one gold chocobo. That is a time consuming and money consuming. And yet, I pretty sure that if I started a other game, I would still have a hell of a time to make a other one. Is almost like figthing a weapon.

@ Alaxius yeah I feel you that is time consumin I loved that lol it was so much of a challenge and get pissed turnin the game off! those were get old days It took me a while to get the Black Chocobo I know you need the gold one and mate it with another one I forgot which one but you feed them a certain nut and I finaly got him lmao he was so pretty!. once you get the black one he can walk anywere

One last thing about the chocobo....one of the longust part is whereyou have to go to the big fair in the sky(if I remember right) and do all those races with you chocobo....And I still remember when there was one chocobo with a guy dressed in black always giving you a hard time. It like I played that game just a couple a week ago. But I dont remember if I already said this but the wrose part in this game is when Aéris died.First time I played the game, I had her in my first paty so she was one with the best level.

guest you and me had the same problem...one last thing that I din't like was when you where sumoning....everything was looking great but after a while it was becomming long for nothing...imagine when you cast 2 knight of the round plus you do one mimic. That just took at leat 5 min.

I'll agree that some summons took to long but I never got tired of watching Knights of the Round. What was really bad was all the gFs in FFVIII. Those were the ones that were really going to were you down with the time they took.

what is gfs?? But for me I find that FFVIII is one of the worse. What bug me the most was that you had to steal you're magic. But I admit that the limit lion heart(if I'm correct) was prety good...and the best magic was the one where it filled you're limit gauge.

gF = Guardian Force
They were the monsters that allowed you to "steal" magic from your enemies. And leveling up in FFVIII wasnt to easy because they had some formula where the enemies level that you were fighting was the average level of your characters in your party. That is what I hated the most about FFVIII, the final boss fight was hard as hell and you couldnt go and level up to beat the boss cuz of the formula.
