One of my friends told me you can charge your ipod with the ps2(fat version not the slim one) usb connections.

He showed me with his nano and it took a couple of seconds then it showed the charging state battery. And it was charging while we were playing the ps2.

I have an ipod 4th gen 20 gig and wanted to know if its possible to. Is it safe or will it destroy the ipod. Im only worried because it is an old version ipod.

I charge my iPod Nano on my Xbox 360 sometimes.

I tried it on the fat ps2 and it seems to work. The screen shows a big battery charging. I guess it does work. But i wan't to know why it doesn't work on the slimline ps2.
