Thats correct you need to be on 1.50 in order to upgrade to 2.71 SE-A.
And its also downgradable to 1.50 incase you dont like it.

Alright guys, I didnt really get the answer, but I figure it out I am running fw 2.71 with TA-082. So the downgrade are not possible. Thanks to Dark Alex for the henc and Devhook. first I use henc and blue screen shows up, and the psp reboot automatically. then go the devhook. you have 2 option here. if I want to play homebrew games I pick 1.50. then if I want to play ISO or CSO pick the 2.71 (flash) and there you go. you can play ISO on your TA-082. I try DBZ, NBA Ballers and Def Fight Night. and all work. Just make sure you have UMD on the slot while playing. coz its gonna look for it.

For I thinks its better to stay on 1.50 than 2.71. Henc sometimes crash and you have to reboot it all the time. I would 2.71 is about 90% for being perfect. and 1.50 is 100%. if anyone have question free to ask me. gladly to show you the step by step process.
I wont get back soon because I have tons of game to play. HA hHHA hha.

also all the info i got is from this thread. you guys dont need to go anywhere. the answer is here.
