out of sync sound with a vcd

After splitting a mpeg file using Easy Video Splitter, playing the split files on the pc is no problem, they work perfectly, I then use Nero to make a vcd.
When I watch the vcd the sound is out of sync ususally by two -three seconds.
Can anyone suggest what I am doing wrong.

Well how long did it take to burn? and what burn speed did you use?

you burned at 1x, are you serious???? WOW!! lol even i will never go less than 4x!!
Well i dont think Nero did any encoding then, perhaps, 1x was too slow and the burner just messed up, overheated or something?

well i have done it on both x1 & x4
where do you think the problem lies ?
I guess it is something I am doing wrong in Nero

I would doubt really that you are doing anything wrong, what kind of media are you using in your burn?

Most likely the prob lis with nero!
