That depends. The P182 is imo a better designed case, but it's designed for quietness. If you're after extreme cooling, the 900 may be more suitable.

hmm, this is tough, i want silent and good cooling, and yeah i like the design of P182 too, but cooling is also good...

i'll take 900 then, if you you turm the fan speed to the lowest it's quiet and on high it's loud, so when i'm nont gaming i'll turn is low, when gaming for a bit then mid, and when lanning then high, thats good.

but P182 is spacious, is this true more space = more cooling?

Now ASUS P5E or GA-X38-DS4?

Compared to the 900, the 182 isn't spacious, but it's not much smaller - it's a large case but seems more cramped due to the compartment-style construction. if you want a quiet PC, go with a 182, it can stil cool a gaming PC perfectly well enough.

Come the end of the auction, that'll go for the same price as you can buy one new for, I guarantee it.

I hope someone can clear my logic on this. I was just thinking that the 3870X2 is really shit in terms of cooling. I mean when i have my single 3870, it blows a heck of alot of hot air out of the case. Now wont that single fan(36db at max speed) on X2 be forcing hot air allready from the first gpu onto the second GPU?

Mucked up?

Yeah it will be doing that but that's life. The X2 will be quite a bit hotter than a single 3870, and I believe that's why it's underclocked a bit too.

WRONG!

its actually OCed to 825, from 775. :)

oh, and yeah it will run a bit hotter, but it consumes low power, and dont run that hot. what is with ur h8 the x2 campaign greg?

Sure go ahead. Just make sure the images are resized so they fit on a 1024x768 screen, because that's what many people use.

You don't need to reduce the size, just provide the URL to the image rather than attaching it directly. There is also a thread in the safety valve for showing off your setup...

shaffaaf,
Image Shack calls theirs "Direct Link" and you just post that, then the size doesn't matter and it takes less time for everything on the forum as it doesn't have to load all the pics, just the URLs! Like this!
http://img120.imageshack.us/img120/505/1201898514qr9.gif

It should look like the above URL!
