The BIOS is the basic code required to operate the PC, it will be found directly at the motherboards website.

Sandra should have told you what version board you have and what BIOS, so go to that manufacturers website, check for updates and if required download it and follow the instructions on how to upload it to the PC.

Basically though if you have no issues, then you don't really need to update it, if you do it and get it wrong, then you will be unable to use the PC at all, until you fix the problem, which if you manged to mess it up in the first place, you may find hard to do.

If you post what board and bios you have, then we can look for an update and see if there are any major fixes from what you are now using.

Here's the BIOS page for your mobo.
Instructions are on the page.

http://us.dfi.com.tw/Support/Download/bi..._FLAG=A&SITE=US

It looks as though you've got version 0600 BIOS which ins't even on the list now, the BIOS is now up to 0722.

LANPARTY PRO875 Rev A is what is on that page, if that differs from what you have then you need to be clearer, as you said you had that board.

If you have an 875B board then you need to put that down instead, there are only 3x 875 boards available on the DFS site.

There should be a sticker on the mobo somewhere.
Without looking at it I can't be 100% certain your board is a rev a.
