On new computer, I've been getting same problem that when I start utorrent or bitlord, everything went slow, I even cant broswer internet. But it never happened with my old computer. So, Is there something I can change speed into "Balance"?

Thanks.

Yea dont use either programs they suck. Use either bittornado or the one that uses the leat amount of ram and cpu power is Azureus.

Bitlord is indeed rubbish, but utorrent is excellent, better than Azureus in my opinion, it certainly uses a hell of a lot less resources than Azureus, plus it's a standalone programs, no installs, no fuss!

Vista is notorious for causing problems with network speeds, try this:

Originally posted by jeffkaplan.net:
The synopsis is that their appears to be a problem with Vista being too smart for it?s own good, with the addition of the ?Receive Window Auto-Tuning Level? setting in the TCP/IP stack.

Disabling this setting fixed the timeout problem in FF2 and Windows Live Writer on my machine. Make sure you?re running as an Administrator (can open a command window as Administrator) and execute the following command at the prompt:

?netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled?

Changing ?disabled? to ?normal? will re-enable this setting, should you want to turn it back on again. The following command will list the status of the current TCP settings:

?netsh interface tcp show global

?
You're going to sell the entire computer? Why not just put XP back on the new one?
