no option would come up to burn with nero, but we tried it on our friends computer which had a newer version of nero and it worked fine. Thanks to everyone that helped :). especially binkie7!

You're welcome Tricket56 - glad you got it backed up.

Looks like you have an oem version of Nero - so that would mean it might not have Burning Rom which is what Shrink uses to auto burn. So that would be why the burner isn't listed. You can always just have Shrink save to the hard drive then use Nero Express and add the video_ts fodler and burn it.
