my boyfriend recently bought a 1978 mercury marquis. his radio doesn't really pick up anything and i'm trying to help him figure out what he needs to get decent sound from his ipod in his car.

i know nothing about speaker strength, so when we're looking online, it's hard to tell what speakers will sound like.

any suggestions? we're not looking for spend a lot of money, but would like to get some decent sound out of the speakers.
