Hi, R4 soft reset is little icon at top right hand side when in game menu, (with little R in it)touch it from red to green. When it is green you can press same keys as dstt and M3, L + R + X,Y,A,B, to return to main menu.

I checked out some of your pages regarding set up of dstt.

I did everything said (even the fat16 format) The problem I have is when I put the dstt with the micro card into the DS lite system and turn it on, nothing happens. I see only the screen that shows pictochat and ds download play. I notice it says no DS card and no game pack.
I am using a kingston 2G micro DS
I've put the TTMENU folder, TTMENU.DAT & TTMENU.SYS files + 1 .nds file and nothing happened.

Can anybody help?

Well I finally got a reply from ds-memory.net 8 days later saying that they would cancel my order.

Only problem is I have now jumped from the frying pan into the fire. I have ordered from consoleup.com who I find out after ordering are apparently even worse! I had a panic attack yesterday as it was supposed to be here by 1pm yesterday and I didn't even have a tracking number! I now have a tracking number with Parcelfarce so fingers crossed! Will update you later.

Maybe I was just lucky as they hadn't actually taken the money by the time they agreed to cancel the order.

hi
Can anyone help me. I have an R4 with 2gb micro sd. All has been working fine for the last few weeks and then suddenly last night for no apparent reason when I turn on the DS I just get LOADING and nothing else. My other child also has an r4 with 2gb and when I put the micro sd from the first one into hers the same thing happens but when I put her micro sd into the first R4 it works. It appears the problem is with the micro sd, can anyone advise if it can be fixed.
Also a word of warning to those ordering R4's. The first one I ordered back in July last year was with a web site called nowplay.co.uk and a long story short I didn't recieve the R4 till October and I had also ordered the micro sd with them and they were never sent. I have complained to the consumer authorities etc and they have tried to get a refund and still nothing has happened. I spoke to the owner of the company numerous times and was constantly told everything was on the way and it never was, he also told me he'd refund me and never did so a word of advice is stay away form NOWPLAY.CO.UK.

first thing to do is reformat the SDcard. before you do, copy the games folder onto your computer. That way you will not lose any of the saved data from the games otherwise your children will have to start fresh with each game.format the card and then re install the folders as you did to start with, then copy your games folder back onto the card and try it in the DS.

Hi All,
I had exactly the same problem with hanging, yet re-formating to FAT32 actually helped me. Yet, here is a thing - once I add a new game, I have exactly the same problem as before - every game hangs.
So, how do you guys actually solving this thing? I mean the onces who did FT32 format?

I finally found how to solve this problem. It helped me so far.
1. Format your card to FAT16
2. Place all your game not all at once but in separate folders. Folder name should be the same as a ROM name.
3. Set "Default reset" - ON, before you run ANY of your games for the first time
4. Enjoy!

Thats it. Doing so DS is not freezing any more, and I can finally add new games and not re-format card over and over again! 8)

Hi. I found this forum searching dstt and I hope someone might be able to help me. My daughter got a DS on Ebay and it came with a card with a bunch of games on it (looked just like a regular NDS card). I have 3 daughters and now the other 2 want this great game disk too and I thought maybe there was a way I could copy it? I started looking up NDS cards and found the ds tt. I think that is what her disk is. If I buy another card, can I hook the mini-sd card to my computer with the adapter and copy the card? Is the dstt the best one to buy? Any advice would be helpful - I'm not very tech savy but I would like to figure this out so they can stop fighting over the darn card! Thanks! :)

yes you can copy the games via your computer from the micro sd card. You must have the same make of card to use the same system files that will be on the original micro sd. If you get a different make of card they each have their own systems that can be downloaded from the internet. You can use the games on any card by just copying the files named .nds.
I had quite a few problems with dstt's but found work better with 2gb micro sd, but others have no problems and say they are great. I had no problems with R4 revolution but they are hard to get hold of at moment.
Cheers, Linda

I have an R4 card and have had no problems with the games, movies or music playing. I tried to buy another R4 card for my nephew but it is sold out everywhere.

Just found the DSTT EZ Flash V card. My question is if I take the Micro SD card out of my R4 card and place it in the EZ FLash V card will it work? Or do I have to download a whole new software in order for the EZ FLash card to work? Thanks for any help!

I placed an order with DS-Memory.net but due to a shortage of cards I did not proceed with my order. At first I thought I was a victim of another less than scrupulous internet company, however, Dan at DS-Memory is an absolute star. If you have any problems he will sort them and if you ask him via e mail he will contact you by phone. I have had alot of misfortune on the net when buying various items and would not recommend many companys. But DS-Memory in my opinion are trustworthy and deliver the goods as advertised. Highly recommended.
