I had no idea.
Ok so perhaps you only need TOOL A, and possbibly TOOL B
What brand of disc and type DVD-R, DVD+R did you use?
What program did you use to burn the backup and what speed?
Perhaps try another backup.
Also remember when starting your game with Swap Magic, to choose the Region of your PS2, regardless of what region the backup is.
Actually i bought this game off ebay. The disk includes Naruto Narutimate Hero 1,2,3 on one disk. It does look like a burned game but when i bought it, the description said it works exactly like a JP game. But if what you are saying is true then i should only need tools A and B? i think maybe i'll try an import that wasnt burned
Ok, I'm a complete idiot. I was using the CD instead of the DVD for the ps2. I have fully proven that Swap Magic works with the SCPH 90001 Playstation. All that is needed is tool A and none of the other ones. Covering the sensor above the reset button, along with using the Swap Magic DVD is the only requirement to play all imports. Thanks for everyone's help. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone =]
