I am having trouble with Homebrew and I was wondering if anyone could answer some of these questions:

1. Can someone please post or pm me a bundle (including the n64 game player) for homebrew and the Twilight Hack that I can just put straight onto my SD card and then into my v3.3 Wii

2. What are the risks of installing the Homebrew Channel on your Wii?

3. Does the Wii have to have wireless internet to use Homebrew?

4. How do you put N64 games onto the Homebrew Channel?

If you can answer any of these it would be a great help!

I have looked at the sticky and it didn't help much. Thank you for the tip though, I will be using that for other problems for sure!

Ok I will help you out.
Go here , it was in the links for homebrew
Then you just need to download the Wii64 and extract to your SD card, then place your ROMS in x:\N64ROMS" and gamessaves in "x:\N64SAVES".
Where "x" is your SD card drive.

Some more useful guides - link that should answer your questions.

I just tried it and it worked fine for me.
Maybe try generating a custom pack again and redownload it.

If it doesn't work try this link then.

I worked it out, but during the installation process it came up with a few things saying that stuff was corrupted, is this a problem?
It is an excellent sight and I thank you very much!!

It shouldn't say that. I have uploaded it, if you check my link above again.
Try that one and see as it unzipped perfectly for me.

It looked like it ended fine but during the installation it had red words next to things and at the end it said "An error occured" and then it said I should try a window thing or something like that. But as I said it looked like it ended fine.
Also, does it matter how many emulated games I put on at the same time, because I don't have the Homebrew Channel yet and I was wondering if I should install it first and then put games on or have them on my SD card while I am putting on the Channel.

1. What are the risks of installing the Homebrew Channel on your Wii?

2. Does the Wii have to have wireless internet to use Homebrew?

You have been a great help!!

Yes you need to install homebrew first.

read this post by "larrylje" on the risk of installing homebrew
http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/9/735325#4539419

Follow this guide to install homebrew

No you don't have to have wireless internet too use homebrew.

Yes you can have more than one emulator on your SD card.

No problem, sorry I thought you meant emulators.
I don't think it matters how many games you put on.

Do you need a modchip to run Homebrew Channel and with your linked file to download the HBC + Wii 0.3 Gamma should I also download the Homebrew Channel part in the Wii Package site? Also, can I upgrade my firmware (I have v3.3 (OCT 23rd) and want v3.4) while I still have the HBC and then follow your linked guide?

I know this might be a big ask and you have helped me alot but can you please write a whole guide to installing the Wii Homebrew Channel on a v3.3 (Oct 23rd) Wii, including the app that allows you to play copied games, N64 games and Game Boy Advance games from scratch or a pack that I can just download and run straight aweay? I am still really confused and I would hate to brick my Wii!! I am so sorry to ask you this but I am really, really confused!!

P.S. I have a PAL Wii

NO you don't need a modchip to run homebrew.
You need the Legend of Zelda Twilight disk to install homebrew.

You can upgrade to 3.4u if you like, but you need to follow the instructions in red in that guide if you wish to install the backup launcher.

There are guides already made. If you read them from start to finish, you should have no problems

Read through some of these guides to understand better.

Homebrew is working fine except for a few of the emulated games and Quake from the bundle site. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP, without you I probably would have bricked my Wii.
Thank you for putting up with my stupid questions and for your time and effort!!

After I win the classic mode or defeat the first person in Subspace Emmiracy in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, a message saying "An error occured. Please press the EJECT button or turn off the Wii" comes up. I think this is to do with the fact that my Wii is v3.3. How can I update my Wii without bricking it or losing the HBC?

I don't think it needs an update if your already playing it.

"robnyr" in this thread has a similiar problem after beating classic mode. No one has replied yet to a solution.

Brawl only used firmware 3.1, so its not a firmware issue. It sounds like your problem is that the game cant read the second layer of the disk which contains most of the cutscenes.

You do have the dual layer rip of the game, right? Someone was on here the other day with the single layer copy so apparently its still floating around.

If thats not the problem then reburn it, since it something is wrong with the second layer of the disk.

And for the record, updating to firmware 3.4 does NOT effect the homebrew channel or modded wii's in any negative way.

I am borrowing Brawl from a friend which they bought from a person who chips Wiis. I think it works perfectly fine on their Wii though they are not on v3.4 like the chipper said u have to be on to play. Should I downgrade to v3.1 or just email the guy selling the burnt games and ask him what is wrong?

Also, some of the games from the Wii package site do not work and when I try to play them it says "This is not a valid Wii application". Should I try redownloading them?
