What type of DSI mod cards should I buy?

Hi, I asked my dad about it, and he said i could only buy 1 ONLY 1 type. I'm more experienced to the R4, so I'm thinking of the new R4I, but I'm not sure. So, can you reply back saying what should I buy. Thanks.

The R4 is no longer the card of choice. Already there are 4 types of R4i, all needing different software they are cashing in on the good name of the original R4 (now dead)
Try the EZ flash vi or the AceKard 2i - avoid the R4i (all of them ) unless you really want the problems that they are causing.

dstti remember all dsi roms like the ones listed will probably not work if you upgrade firmware dstti warns this on the box, be careful

I have the EZ flash vi it works great in my dsi. The only thing I dont like about it is the cheat system. Lots of cheats crash the game, other then that no complaints. And it is upgradeable if the dsi firmware becomes a issue. But we will see for sure later on.
I just ordered a acekard 2i but only because I want to use my cheats in animal crossing LOL. Got to have more bells.

I'm a little skeptical about the DSTTi because the official website has software for you to run to see if it's genuine - so they must have a rather big fakes problem going on!
I bought an EZFlashVi from NDS-Gear (although I think they're available from gizzards and PCJerry as well) and it plays like a dream so far like any other card.
Although take note, it doesn't auto boot up, you need to push a button on startup to go into the menu (not too stressful lol). But it's great!

i know dstt and dstti can, don't know about others happy with dstt so never changed, few guys in work with r4 but it kept deleting the game saves and crashing, don't know anyone else with roms apart from dstt

For me with the DS Lite, it never crashed or deleted files. So, I'm thinking about the new R4I since i have more experience with it.

i would recommend the acekard2i - it's doing fantastic, ordered mine of mygamingmart.com with a kingston 4gb combo for around $49
yup r4 is NOT the card of choice lately as they've shut down over a year ago and TONS OF CLONES have flooded the market!

Hey can the acekard be on the new DSI? Can it have Action replay codes like the r4? and the r4 didn't shut down, they still have their website and they have new things (Not really sure but yea) and i'm very used to the R4. How is teh acekard like? Is it like the R4 but have other things?

Sorry for double posting, but when I looked at the website it said: -This flash card DOES NOT come with a TF Card Reader. What does a TF card do? Is it like a computer adapter that connects the memory card to the computer? Is it like the R4 memory card? Yea i'm very curios

Acekard2i support DSi but acekard2 doesnt. For what it like check here, they have AK2i, R4i, DSTTi.

the TF card is the same thing as the R4 memory card - its called TF for trans flash or microSD memory card. I think "does not come with TF reader" meant the USB reader to connect the microsd to your computer isnt there. But my 4gb that i ordered off mygamingmart comes with an sd adapter which goes into my pc to transfer files anyways so no worries! hope this answered your confusion

yup they work in pretty much similar fashion. for the dsi as mentioned bfore is the acekard2i NOT acekard2! :)
But the acekard2i menu is different and has a few other cool functions such as takes higher size memory, also has stuff ike rom trimming where you can delete the rom off of your ds! etc

hi there just seen your note on here and not sure which one to buy well For the DSI you should get The R4I SDHC UPGRADE card this works great as i have brought a few of these know for friends and family and they are great check out the website were i got them from fast service and orignal products http://www.i'manidiot.com edited by ddp

Ah well not every thing is to do with Ds AND R4 in that sence R4 CAN STAND for many things and i be very careful who you say con to as there are plenty of good people out there trying to make a living
