wasnt going to say nothing about this as guys here did sugest a couple things the other night for me to try and help a friend of mine..with her problem with this....Trojan horseIRS/BackDoor.SdBot.MYX
Win32.Rbot.DZS
AVG detected it but wouldn't remove or put in vault....you know denie access...then somebody sugested trying house call...well at76% it hung up and wouldn't scan no more...let alone remove it...she slammed norton it ....norton found two other virus plus took care of both them and the trogan.... thats just my 2 cents worth....not complainning...as the guys were trying to help and ...yes its just sometimes that certain things work better for certain virus's and so on....and if you have tried norton already ....or can't afford it... you might go here and then do a search and see what all turns up to try.....
http://www.softpedia.com/get/Antivirus/index6.shtml
just paste the name of the virus into the search and ...get ready to do some reading.... good luck...

Sorry about the double post...but had an after thought too...something i read just the other night....and not many people mention....befor you start removing one that is giveing you magor trouble.... turn off your windows restore....and those files will be deleted ...that way when you reboot the don't get loaded back in ....as is sometimes the case....or laid burried and come back to life sometime later....you can always turn it back on after you have gotten the problem out...

ok....food for thought...norton and mcaffee both slow your computer down almost as much as the viruses they remove. They place programs on your computer that are worthless imho and neither is very good about removing EVERYTHING on your computer...I have run both and both caught things the other didnt. However there were STILL things they could not detect and/or remove. On top of this you have to PAY for the program AND a subscription to their services. NOT WORTH IT! I use AVGFREE and do not have problems with viruses as it is a full security suite....don't remember if it has a firewall with it though....but I don't use a software firewall anyways. However I DO have problems with ad-ware that I can't seem to get rid of. adaware se took a lot of adware off and so did some of the other ad-ware removers...however I still have popups periodically from IE(which i do not use and have it disabled[note. IE cannot be fully disabled as far as I know because it is a shell program embedded in windows...BAD MICROSOFT!....BAD BAD MICROSOFT!) I downloaded a trial version of Spy Doctor and it brought up 84 instances of malicious and non-malicious ad-ware/spyware....however it cannot remove it in the trial version. Not to advocate piracy as per site rules, but I downloaded a crack for it from bit torrent and cannot seem to get the crack to work. Not sure what to do with it because it gives me an install file for the program which works fine, a .dll file, a useless .nfo file which offers no help and advertises the authors, two .exe files one of which has a numeric designation followed by the word loader and the other just says swdocter.exe and does not appear to be an install file. The .dll and the .exe's and .nfo are packaged seperatly in a seperate .rar archive and neither of the .exe files seem to work and gives me an "unable to locate component" error that says application failed to start because rtl70.bpl was not found and reinstalling the program may fix this problem. Can someone please take the time to give me some advice about what to do here? I gotta get rid of this crap on my computer and I do not have the money to spend on buying ANY software to do this regaurdless of price as I am disabled and live on a very tight budget. Any help would be much appreciated...
Attention: Jesus was black, Ronald Reagan is the devil, and the government is lying about 9/11....Thankyou and have a good night.

just wondering if you have ever tried a custom install ...which gives you control of what you install ...like i have system works in ..with out ghost and with out go back...and well maybe you just haven't looked deep enough...but with the works...and might "ADD A LEGAL COPY" ....that next year for the same protection and all the regular weekly updates on the new virus..and so forth...only cost you 20 ....yea sure the first pop is 70....but as long as your legal next year is only 20...and so on...As for the added fire wall..only running the worm....but it has saved me a lot of headaches...but then again...I am running 1 gig of ram...(daul channel) expandable to 4 gig....and haven't noticed any slow down.....my video card has my Drain on my useage than what norton does......BOTTOM line it... boils down to the set up your running...board ..chipset... and ram...then what all you have set to run on opening ....
anyway going to get out of here before the MOD deciedes to but a boot to me.....hehehe

it sounds like he has a problem with his system, run this command..in start run.type that in the run box.
sfc /scannow
this checks your system protected files and fixes them on your system,it might ask for your windows install cd
