It will stop the interuptions, the only thing is that the channel names may be different.
U need to download the software/firmware first.
get it at the eko.4 link under my post.
hit digivox then firmware and download 'v2600api bin'
then hit software and download' downloader10.exe '

the rs232 cable is the problem.you need a null modem cable.the rs232 sends the signal on a straight connection. the null modem sends the signal on a cross over connection.the null worked for me.got a null modem cable from maplin

You will need a null modem cable im afraid.
But hold off for now, it looks like there is a VM problem in UK !
That may be the reason for the trouble..

Hey all! Got a Digivox recently but I'm having problems.
Ok so I have cable box in my place, square white one with TV and FM on it, doesn't say anything else. When I connect it to the TV I get some channels (TV3 and BBC cos there free) and a good few other cable channels which I can hear perfectly but the display is all scrambled, verticle lines with the colours of the display. (I assume its the encoding from NTL, tis why you need the decoder)
Anyway, I connected it to my Digivox and I searched automatically with NTL, Telewest, EX C&W and OM but nothin gets picked up and I dont know why.
I have a new F cable going from the box into the Digibox in the Pay TV Cable Input.
Do I need to upgrade the Firmware? I ordered in a Serial to USB so could because I have the serial cable, came with the Digivox (also downloaded the downloaded and the V2600 fireware) but I dont know, will this fix the problem?
My current Digivox system information is....
Quote: Model Name: Digivox
S/W Version: V02-2.6000BK
Boot Version: 01
Date: 1. Jan. 2007
Can anybody help me please? Thanks! :)

U will have to put cable into 'RF IN '(or 'cable in' )in at back of digivox.
then run scart from back of tv to digivox.
click on my name and on the left u will see my digivox tutorial.
Make sur u autoscan in on your area provider .
