Hi all,
I have had my dbox2 for sometime and no problems with it. I occasionally have to enter new keys from Bigmaq but no dramas at all. One of my friends who now has a dbox2, scanned his at the weekend to get the new (or old - whichever way you look at it!) Sky channels. Got the channels except now it has dropped the image, giving just a black screen, audio and channel info no problem.
I thought it would have been the keys. So he entered the ones for his area (Pure NTL) except the area code is slightly different - the box gives 5501 while Bigmaq gives 5401. Anyways tried entering the code in every configuration and still nothing.
Does anyone have any ideas?

My last school report did say I was abit slow! ;o) What is the deal with this fix then?

Hi there, I have been having a problem with my dbox yesterday. I live in Stockport (ex C&W). My channels went off yesterday but there was no roll yesterday for C&W. So I am assuming that my region may have changed. I tried out the other regions (Manchester 1, Manchester 2 and Stockport) but no luck. Also, I am also one of the very few who does not have the 7 fix. I am using the Sportster pro image (Nov 2006). Please can you help!

Hi, I am with you on not having yet done the fix. My keys needed updating yesterday and the new roll on Bigmaq was not until late'ish last night. Suggest you check out Bigmaq for the new keys again because they are there now and do work. Laters.

if you go back over 100 pages of this thread all this has been answered 1000 times over i know this cause i was 1 of the ppl answering it along with a few other members and were shocked to see ppl still asking the same question from like april time
ftp rom 7 into var/keys its all here on this thread how to setup ftp and were to get rom7 from good luck

Hey can someone help. After about 1 and a half year of manually typing in codes i decided tonite to try and flash my dbox myself following tutorial on 123turners signature. I was trying to connect wireless using core ftp lite and flashfxp but the message i'm getting is no route to host. my adresses are all the same as shown on the video.
Please can someone help in time for the boxing or instruct me on how to connect my dbox to my pc using ethernet cable.

as for the question above yours...what image are you using?
it could well be the password that is wrong try dbox dbox2 commando if none of these work reflash with ifa source a new img scouse has some avail click his sig....

its the Sportster Image Im using. I used to get someone I know to flash it but I thot it was time to have a go myself. I will have a go at what you suggest. I did try the three different passwords but not sure I had my wireless card enabled and never had my dbox connected to my router. Thanks alot for you help mate I'll be back later to let you know how I got on. Ta

ello im trying to do a scan on my dbox and i have lost the frequency and symbol rate to scan on..
this image doesnt have the option to choose my area that im from (liverpool area)
as its an image a friend put on it (this is a different box, its a gray sagem.
current settings:
Scan for services- TV & radio
Bouquet- Update Existing
Cable Provider- CableUK Sym6887
Fast Scan- On
Manual Scan- Off
Frequency - ?
Symbol Rate- ?
FEC- 1/2
Polarization- H
xbox360 (LT+ 2.0) - revo r3610 (xbmc 11) - vu+ duo - 2x skybox f3

soz think my first request went in wrong forum
Im trying to flash my d box with blade am currently using laky pro but am having problems it keeps updating channel list and duplicates channels ive already got . i am flashing box the manual way as cant do it any other way go through steps but when finished laky pro image still there do i have to delete it first and if so how do i do that

Might have a Kildare - Ch*rus user who can assist,
I'v flashed Nuetrino image no problem, I dont have the service files or bow k files, but I have the Ch*rus ones I downloaded from another website, but my location is not listed on the location listing,
Any suggestions ? The scan is picking up NOTHING. Is there an issue ? I am in Maynooth, Co. Kildare, Ireland do I have to change anything else, symbol / frequency rate or anything like that ?
I t/f the service and bow k files to the box, but nothing after I did a scan.
The box is ready to be placed into the wheelie bin outside the house.

Hey all,
I am new to this site and am a noob with the dbox2. I have just baught a Nokia 2xi with NEUTRINO NG on it but i only get about 25 channels when i scan. My question is should i use a differant image or do i need a up to date servise.xml to find the channels or should a complete scan still find the channels if my setup is right?
