Well i know you can make it into a Iso file but it's really not worth puting it on hdd because you will need a disc with roms on it to play the games so i would just put it on a cd-r or a dvd-r and play it with swap magic

Not that i know of right now but if your ps2 read cd-rs then theres no need to waste a dvd-r you can burn it to a cd-r and it will play the same if the dvd-r is not working for you. Thats the only reason why i burned it to dvd-r because my ps2 hate cd-rs but it works with swap magic cd 3.3 and 3.6 not 3.0 on mine it don't

I have snes station and you don't have to merge them all you have to do is make a folder on your pc and rename it roms and put in all your unzipped roms in there and burn it with snes-station elf file
and no n64 emulators out

I got it to work but i was curious to know something....i notice that the sound is a bit choppy and the games dont run as smooth is it suppose to look this way? when i was burning it it went from 2x and ended at 5.1x and i dont know if this 5.1x made a difference on it? anyone experience the same problem?

if you mean you set the burn speed to 2x and at the end of the burn it said the average write speed was 5.1x,then the lowest supported speed for those cdrs is 5.1x.and you need to set the burn speed higher than that.remember that cdrs can be copied at higher speeds than dvdrs and setting the speed at 2x for a disc that can be copied at 48x is really ridiculous when you think about it.

it does play alittle better if you burn it faster but still the overall game play is slow.the genesis emulator runs better.

yeah i sort of have the same problem...some roms work great, others, the sound kind of "repeats" (eg. in mario bros, if i get one coin, the sound doubles and sounds as if i got 2 coins...i have the sound rate set at 24 in options btw) also some roms run a little slow. i burnt the cd at 4x cause that was the lowest i coulda burnt at.
anyway, any soultions to the above problems/burn speed?
thanks!
p.s. im looking for a site that has ALL the snes rom files in one zipped package. anyone know where i can get one?

Use bitorrent and check some of the torrent sites.
I have about 500 SNES roms. I thought I read somewhere that you don't have to unzip the roms to get them to play. I think it said that you can just move the zip files for the roms into their own directory and they will work fine. Is this true? I hope so, because I really do not want to unzip 500 different files if I don't have to.
Oh, and what are a few sites that offer a lot of roms for that sega genesis emulator?

for the final step in making a snes station dvd, i was just wondering what the low burn speed is for?
do i have to burn at 1x or 2x because it might not run properly if i burn faster?
i burnt a dvd at 4x and the sound seems to skip or "double"...can this be fixed by burning at a lower speed?
thanks..
