hummm....well i burned it using DVD Decrypter. i find it much easier than Nero. Why don't you try using it too. See if that works. Most likely it would.

I downloaded 2 different files the one that you put on this thread neil0337 www.mininova.org and one from www.thepiratebay.org they both don't work. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong man. I've tried many ways:
1. Burning with Nero (lowest speed 4x)
2. Burning with DVD Decrypter (lowest speed 1) (using both iso and md5 format)
Somebody help me! LOL
Where did you guys download your Berserk from, It would be nice to give me the torrent and I'll see from there.

Give imgburn(newer version of dvd decrypter) ago and if using DVD+R, booktype it to dvd-rom

I tried that new version of DVD Decryptor and it didn't work either. If you have anymore ideas let me know.

Could someone please help me. I downloaded that berserk ps2 game and it's in rar format, but when I extract it, I get 5 different folders with files in them and three files outside the folders. How do I compile them into an iso? I tried following the guide but I can't get it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I thought I erased my earlier post. I found out what the problem was. For anyone having a similar problem, with any iso of any game that you try to extract with WinRAR, if you get multiple files and/or folders and can't get it into iso form, you should try this. Click on the .rar file, but before beginnig extraction, go to SETTINGS/INTEGRATION, and if the ISO box is checked, uncheck it. Then try to extract. I found the answer somewhere on this forum(can't remember where, was looking all night). Now, if I could just get through all my psp homebrew problems. Anyway, this is a great forum. Thanks to afterdawn, I now, also worship the God known as Tayo Yuden.

no its not rpg heres the trialer
its not yet release in the US yet.hopefully the will.

okay. you see, the problem is that i have dail-up. i can't really watch anything. all i can do is look at the picture. so i don't really know.

Ok, I downloaded the game from mininova, used WinRAR to change it into an ISO, used Nero to image burn it to a dvd. When I finally put the disc into my PS2 I am promted with "Please insert a PlayStation 2 format disc." Now I realize this game is regionally coded but I thought that it being a burned game I would be able to remove this code. Any ideas?

it doesnt read it like it would normally on ps2 disc.because its a burnt disc you neither use swap magic or hd advance to play it.

DUDE I JUST BOUGHT THE GAME AND GUESS WHAT IT DOESN'T WORK!!!!! ARGH!!!

Hahah neil way to go on posting this thread! Im a berserk fan (check the sig) much like TMA. And like TMA said read the manga first to get the storyline down so you know what?s happening during the game and why. I think the game takes place between vols. 20-23, i don't remember. Im actually holding the berserk ps2 case right now. I too had imported from Japan. I personally am not a big fan of hack n slash games, but this game is amazing. Its an addictive hack n slash, very easy to learn, and amazing visuals. It'll have you up late at night :) I never played the dreamcast version so i can't do a comparison, but its by far the best hack n slash game. And the translation TMA linked is very useful. You'll get to lvl your weapons and powers/summons up during your adventure, but the whole lvl up menu is written in Japanese so it's useful to get that online translation and print it off =P And please get an import for this game, ya gotta support Sammy. You'll be breathless when you see that brown small square parcel in your mailbox.

kanae, i can help ya out :) what version of swap magic are you using, do you have a slid card, what version ps2, have you been using swap magic before or is this your first time? If first time, then are you sure you set your ps2 up right to use swap magic.
dan, even though kanae owns the physical berserk ps2 disc he stills needs swap magic to run it because is a NTSC-J format and i assume he is using a NTSC-US format ps2. So in order to read that disc (just like reading backups) he needs to use a mod or swap magic.

Haha its fine man. I highly doubt Berserk ps2 will be released in NTSC-U/C or translated english and the english side of Sammy i talked to said they wouldn't count on it either. Not enough Berserk fans over here :/ But in a way that's a good thing.. I can't imagine how horrible the new dubs of the characters voices in english would be.

Lol. Never been a big fan of English dubs of anything that originated from Japan. I try to play all the games in Japanese if I can get my hand on them

Ya most of the time i feel the same way, but the berserk anime's dubbs weren't all that bad. Of course the japanese was better and sounded a lot cooler, but i didn't mind english on the series (epecially Griffith's voice). One anime i really love the english dubs on is Cowboy Bebop.. voices match the characters so well.

Call me what you will, I accept that fact of being obsessed with Berserk...took me an hour to open my Berserk parcel/case when I got it back in 2005..it was like going to disney world for the first time for me:

Ah, well im personally prefer japanese like you, I just don't mind english in those 2 titles. Samurai Champloo's english dubs has to be one of the worse though X.X!
