they were good. sony shuld offer them all for an emu on hte ps3 as downloads.
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

@cabeach Yes.There is alot of info on hacking game cube in general on the gcn forum.Maybe just start a thread there and someone will answer.It's easy, the modchips mostly come with instuctions on how to play downloaded games and homebrew.So you can prbably just find the rom burn and play or just load it from an HDD.

As far as the wii goes it will be hacked but until then you can play n64 games downloaded from the virtual console.
@anubis yeah true. But most of the good games have already be made to one disc like mega man.You can get almost every mega man on one disc for ps2 for like $20 at most.Plus with this next gen stuff I wont be wasting my time with old sh!t.
Hey anubis just play that stuff on your pc for free! Download the playnow(freeware) emulator.It has alot of good emulators all in one package.It does have some systems disabled so you'll pay but the nes,genesis,snes,etc are free.It's a p2p app too so you won't have to look for roms or anything crazy....

yeah, but i wouldnt mind paying a dollar to play a sonic game or something on my ps3 over my pc, cuz ive done so much pc retro emu its boring.

I dont really care if it comes out september october or november as Im getting it on Black friday
edit: when I use PC emulators I just put them on my laptop, connect it to my TV with an SVideo cable, and use my wireless dual shock 2 controller. Just like it was the real thing.

games Im looking forward to: bioshock, SSBB, enemy territory quake wars, halo 3

@mark5hs.Yep, I can tell your from the pc games section of afterdawn lol.Yeah they felt like the real thing and some emulators allow gamepads too.Have fun playing old school games. :)
Btw I got a logitech dual action pc gamepad.

these threads are tighly knit cliques, but once they are all out for some tim the battle threads will be gone and theyre will be many individual threads for games and aspects, and new and strage people will surface.

Yeah the early launch I thought that was bs.Isn't like maybe one month earlier then we assumed anyways?I think it's stupid and they shouldn't rush it.

That would be a good marketing strategy.Nintendo needs every angle possible to compete and that would be a great angle.I think people may have under estimated good ole nintendo.One must remember they have a great past history with consoles.
If they can surprise the everybody when laying down those cards it could be a great move.

I think they have a couple more tricks up there sleeve. Here's what i think, the early arivel with a $199.99 price, the zelda will be bundled with the anolag controler add on, and with there online they will charge for retro games but i see them having a points deal that if you register your products you will get free downloads.
Think about this, the Wii has the Wiiconect24 right, well what if your playing your DS and conect to the Wii even when someone is watching tv and you download one off your NES games to your DS. Nintendo didnt work on HD or HDD they worked on what the GCN and GBA did and made that better.
Along with online, the controller, and first party games I cant wait for the Wii and i hope the rummers are true and it comes out early.

Interesting.Yeah that's a great idea.Plus If you have people registering their software that would decrease piracy and second hand games.
I'm not saying that's great for everyone but for nintendo That would be a smart move.
I am skeptical about a $199 launch but if they do launch at that I will get one first day.I don't have an HDTV yet so that won't matter for me.
