Hi there guys, just wanted to ask Bluemoon in one of your earlier replies you said that we should just get sky movies 1-8 and a couple of other film channels. up to a couple of days ago i was getting everything including all the ppv sky boxoffice film channels, have they done something so we cant get them anymore.
any help would be much appreciated

as i said earlier, even i dont get them, they havent come out wit the software yet so that we can get the ppv channels all the time, the only time you would get them is if sky or ntl was premoting those channels than they will put them on free for a few days every once and a while.

thanks for the reply, im a total noob at this bluemoon so i hope i dont upset you with this but i bought my dbox 13months ago now from a mate all setup and iv been watching everything including the ppv channels (boxoffice, porn,premplus the lot)ever since. it may be i am in the wrong thread and i apologise if i am.
it says on the front of my box, dbox multimedia terminal dv3 by nokia and when it boots it says sportster on the screen and then in the display above the channel name it says neutrino NG and like i said earlier everything was fine until two days ago when the box office movies disappeared and now when i rescan they just dont return, im just trying to find out if i can get them back or not,cheers

send me a personal message with your email addys, and i'll give you a bit more help. pda789 i have a feeling that the ntl or sky group has put a block out on any unauthorised viewing of the ppv and front rows. sorry mate.

i loaded the commando 4 image, chose my area from the automatic scan settings by pressing blue, then did a scan through the service menu, changed the ucode to 001a, and hardware sections to off
now get all the channels excl front row.
im assuming front row cant be obtained?

ok mate, i am gonna have a word with the guy i got the box off to see if he knows anything bout the front row movies. if i get a fix i will keep u all informed

I am also having a similar problem with one of the other guys, when I perform a system scan, it still says No channels found... If someone can please send me instructions or set up guides I would appreciate it. Thanks

Hello everyone, well iv had a word with my mate about the loss of front row movies (ppv) and it seems that NTL have moved to video on demand which is a different system so it looks like we cant get them anymore. thats what iv been told anyway, dont take it as gospel but it does seem plausible.

Guys just received my Dbox2 today, with Neutrino OS. Turned it on and had no picture at all, however once i updated the services.xml & Bouquets.xml then did a restart had everything!!!!. Next i shut the box down while i had lunch and on restart now get correct time, channel info and that but now no picture. I have the dummies guide to Dbox but cant find anything in there!!!. I've done a service scan and after 30 minutes now have a bigger list of channels but still no image, Any ideas?

@bluemoon: I just wanted to say I think you are doing a great job in this thread. You have really turned it around since the start of the thread. Nice to see Ad's own little Dbox 2 expert ;)

sorry mate. been busy. i would suggest in that case that you download it via the website i posted earlier. if you cann't find cammando 4, find sportster 1.73 in the download section. its the only place that do them properly that i know of.

yesterday ive checked my second supply of dboxes from germany and they worked again very fine. Dont loose this supplier its a first class supplier you wont find again. his hotmail id is i'manidiot.com edited by ddp
