hey dazila, true i've had a ps2 and xbox and have never watched a dvd on either of them so yes that doesn't matter about not having a dvd player in it. Lets not sit here and say $250 is pocket change to everyone, it wouldn't break my bank but its still more than i'd like to pay. Plus the games, i highly doubt that stupid Wii sports is worth $50 so anyone arguing that its a great throw in is an idiot. the baseball game is only homerun derby, and unless 2 or 3 friends have wiimotes i doubt any of those sports games will have a lasting appeal and i doubt they have a season or some mode like that. It would be nice is 2k didn't own the rights to make baseball games with the mlbpa because their baseball games suck, and baseball games could be awesome for the Wii and that would probaly be the thing that would bring me to get one, that and being able to download the old games free, after someone learns how to hack them. Another Mario baseball game with more characters or a simpsons baseball game would be awesome, or if they do get GTA like i see them might on ign.

yes true wii sport dont look that great but id love to play 2 players in it but on gamespot wii sports is ranked 2nd out of 32,768 games and twilight princess on wii is 1st lol maybe nintendo will finally defeat microsoft and sony in video games

Playing that console on a small tv under 68cm will suck as you need to move around but im alright my 108cm plasma is good enough and you need to have room like with the eyetoy at least 1m on back right left and 1 - 2m infront of you

Media centre, builtin motion sensor and tv motion sensor. Extremly small and light weight console, old n64 controler ports avalible. Built in sim's style game with a free full game and wirless motion controler.
FREE ONLINE PLAY. 250 usd is cheap not to mention the games are cheap to.
Have you any idea how much a blueray ps3 game will be lol.
Plus with xbox and ps u gotta pay to play online.
Whats an extra 50usd id spend more than that in a week on smokes

60 bucks for a blue ray disk right? anyway wii games will stay at 50 so i dont care how much the wii is nor its controllers. its gonna be the best system.

If I remember correctly, the SNES debuted at around $200. To sell a system today at that price would be ridiculous. The DS alone costs around $150. I am very pleased with the price of $250. Who the heck needs another DVD player anyways? I have so many I can't keep track of them. It would only add to the price of the system and add one more feature that could ruin the system. My PS2 busted because I watched DVD movies on it. Less features is sometimes better. Oh, and the Wii is doing something that hasn't been done in AGES. That is, they are packing a game in with the system. Can you say Mario Bros./Duck Hunt/Track?

um I hate to burst bubbles but to Wii will be free until June so people go wit what you know I will have a Wii and a PS3 which has free online shit and I know how much a blue ray disk is but I also know the Wii will add up for a years internet use so let stop bashing consoles pick the one thats best for you I want both ,they all have there own benefits . I am glad the Wii didnt copy sony and stayed without the dvd add in they wanted to stick to there own style .I still think when the dvd was added it was very innovative and added a nice all around entertainment element since alot of the world watches movies . Nintendo doesnt need it though so big ups to them for stay true to their roots

NIntendo Hasnt really stayed to their roots 10 years ago When I got a N64 they were shoowing how powerfull it was not gameplay now their saying gameplay over power and to prove this my N64 box said on the side "The Worlds fastest and most powerfull gaming system"

well I dont think Sony will flop pre-orders sold like crazy now about the Blu-ray thats is what could make them or their money problems ,but lets not forget they have spiderman one of the biggest money makin pictures so there is no way they will go bankrupt but I wont ever say ever lol but the demand for the playstation is too high they will find a way to keep it even if they go deeper in the whole . The Wii I dont think it will flop it is gettin a great fanbase and makin alot of people that were fans of other consoles come back so they are doin well . I also found this shit about how the Wii will be easy to program for . Now micro hmmm they been out for a while, and they might have the biggest chance of canning the 360 they need more support in Japan which is were alottt of money is you have to do well over there or make up for its in America or the U.K , The land down under somewhere so maybe they will be fine since they came out first with there new console to get a earily jump

I had a pic that I found on google and I never saved and now I cant find it as I forgot what I exacrtly searched And I dont have my N64 box anymore since it would be 10 years and I dont have boxes that long
The Gamecube had the quickest CPU 405mhz vs 700mhz by microsoft but Nintendo's cpu was custom made just for games as microsoft put a P3 and the Gekko Chip would easily out run it at games and 2nd strongest at the GPU and then again it is ranked 3rd,That proves that power isnt all the ps2 is pacing ahead of the Xbox and GC because of its game library both the other systems are more powerfull then the ps2.
