then you did something wrong. retry.

iso's work fine in your iso folder as well, no need to convert them to cso.

just a simple question

when u convert the game file into .cso using umdgen it asks for compression level(1 to 9) which one is the best ie which takes the least
space?

9 is the highest level of compression.

Doesn't the higher the depression level is set, the higher the cso lags?

Yes you can, just download the emulator and some roms then put the emulator in your game150 folder and your roms inside the rom folder (rom folder is inside one of the emulator folders)

Beatz, don't know if you still read this thread, but I used your guide to play .iso/.cso think you could help me out on this issue I posted in another thread:
I'm not sure if anyone is getting this too, but I recently upgraded from my japanese psp1000 1.5 > 3.03 OE-C custom firmware and immediately put games in the ISO folder. Some of these files don't even show up on the memory stick, but if i format the mem stick and put the cso of the game that previously didn't show, it would be there only if there were no other iso/cso files there. So basically if i had .cso A,B,C,D. I put A, then B and all is good on the psp. I once put B first then A and A wouldn't show up. I tested C and D respectively from a formatted mem stick and they worked, but after trying to put A and B on with it, both A + B didn't display under the mem stick. So basically I can't put all 4 together and this baffled me because it wasn't a corrupt .iso/.cso issue. I can't resolve this. It's not a memory problem I still have 200MB remaining if I put all of them on... it just doesn't display all my .cso.
And yes I have my "no-umd: disabled," also i have a umd in the psp and it's set on 1.5 kernel. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey, I'm new here so, which is better to use: ISO, CSO, or DAX for my psp. I have 3.03OE-C. I have cso games for my psp which are only like 250 some MB; why is it smaller than ISO's games. I also have ISO's which is 500 mb it's the same game as the CSO(250 some mb).Is it that iso's are the FULL game. cause cso's are smaller than iso's.
What are DAX? are there any converters for iso to cso or cso to iso.
What is the difference between CSO, ISO, DAX? I don't get it.
And right the kernel thing suppose to be on 1.50. Once when I downloaded a torrent file from isohunt.com then downloaded the ISO, using Azureus, I got so many files and other things. They were WinRAR Archives and R31, R32, R33......files. So how do i convert that to a cso or just to make it one file?
please i really need help!!!!!

Forget about the DAX format, OE firmwares dont run them.
CSO is the compressed version of the ISO.
You need WinRAR to open the torrent you downloaded, double click on any of the .r files to extract the ISO.
