beatz, edit your sig to conform to forum specs ASAP.
2. An image-only signature should be less than 50kb in size, and be at most 500 pixels wide and 200 pixels tall.
4. If you want to use both text and image in your signature the image should not be more than 500 pixels wide and 100 pixels tall, and you can use up to three lines of text.

CSO is used more nowadays than DAX, the recent spate of CF dont support .DAX anyway.

Hi, im kinda new to these forums, and specially to hacking psps, but i was given step by step video instructions on a site to downgrade/upgrading.
anyways.. i now have custom firmware 3.30 OEA
i dunno if thats good or bad, and i have emulataros, applications, etc on my psp.
what i wanted to ask is, on the recovery menu, what do u guys set your cpu speed to? Mine is set as default, and so is xmb.
should i change this? because my emulators/iso games run fine, just a couple of games run slow and have bad graphics, i dunno if its the emulator tho.

well wat u have now is fine really if your games are running slow on emulators its probably the emulator itself as the emulators are still developing to full speed although some have already reached the stage ex. gpsp (gameboy advance) and snes (super nintendo) but if your iso/csos are running slow then put your cpu speed to 333 as that will drain battery but will increase your iso/cso speed if there running slow

ok, cool,
but i'm wondering, if i set my psp cpu speed to 333MHZ, will it damage/ruin the hardware? and will it also drain battery quicker?
and what's the speed in default mode, because it doesnt show.
also, can u guys tell me what ur psp cpu speed configuration is becauause i went best clarity, but dont want to damage my psp.

i got this gba emulator off qj.net and i put this on sendspace because i did everything for you including the gba_bios.bin file that u need to work many of the games all you have to do is download it put it in your game150 folder and your good to go. I just updated the gba emulator to its latest 1 and i included 1 game for you to try out and wat emulators do u want other then snes and nintendo 64 tell me and i will specifically put a tutorial about it

yea, thx for helping me out beatz
anyways, the emulators i got right now are
DGEN 1.70 (SEGA GENESIS)
GBSP (GBA, the one you provided)
DADELUS R12 (N64)
MAME4ALL (MAME)
NEOGEO (neogeo, dont know which one i got)
anyways, the only 2 emulators im having some problems with are my mame and neo geo, i'm not sure if they work together but some1 said you need to put a neo geo bios rom into a mame, or something like that.
And it's pretty confusing, even tho i did that, some games like Metal slug wont run on my mame/neo geo.
So, if you kindly can, i just need the best/latest emu for NEOGEO and MAME, and if u can, plz put the neccesary files inside them so all i have to do is just put the roms on it, so i can play.
really appreciate your help, i wouldn't be asking too much, its just that im new to psp modding, and when i started playing homebrew on it, i just cant leave my psp alone, lol.

Wow, you've really revamped the thread. Been a while since i checked out this thread, i usually refer people to this for the gpsp since it contains the bios. But great work man. If you want, you can add this tutorial that i wrote on how to re-enable psx emulation if you have a custom opening_plugin.rco. http://www.pspbrew.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8247
You'll probably want to re-write it for use with the toggle flash0 though as i write most of my tutorials using pspfiler so people know how to do this stuff on the go rather than with their pc. Up to you though.
Keep up the great work...If and when this gets long I would suggest dividing your links into categories..something like this...
Downgraders:
1. 3.50 to 1.50
2. 3.03 to 1.50
Emulators:
1. GPSP
2. N64
And so on and so forth.
