HoHoHo Well done then, just don't take your father so confidently next time, If you need a good resource site I suggest you google linfox domain and download the M3/G6Real firmware because it is a lot easier from there or from http://www.handheldsources.com/M3DS/Download_M3DSR.html than it is to get it from M3adapter.com. Good luck here on in were here to help if you need it.

Go to Settings (bottom-right icon) and then Language, you should ahve a list of lagauges available, if French is not one then follow the steps below:
Backup everything from your MicroSD, delete everything off the card and download the latest firmware from here, extract this to the card, now put your games/music etc. back on the card.
When you load the M3 for the first time you should have a language select menu, which should include the option for French.

This language setting will only change the language for the M3 menus. If you want the language to be French while playing the games, you'll need to download the French version of the ROMs.

Hi
Can someone help me please I have purchased the M3DS Real Perfect Bundle It has the Rumble pack and GBA Expansion pack. I have copied GBA games into a GBA file but all I see is the game name instead of it having the Icon for the game it has a picture of a gear. I can't get it to open the game. When I try and open them on the DS it put DLDI Compatible and down on the bottom right it says loading. But it never opens the game.
Could someone please help. I see so many GBAs that look like they would be fun to play but I just can't get them to open and play for me.
Thanks
Marie

Hi there. Great information in your message board. Can you tell me if you can play movies and view photos via DS Lite? If so, what format would they need to be?
Thanks

JMarie:
You need to put in the GBA expansion pak and run the file.GBA through the GBA menu. It should run.
mdtw:
Pictures work best as .jpg but gif, png, bmp also work aswell as other popular formats.
Video needs to be .dpg or .dsm and converters are easy to find( if you read this forum front to back it would show a post by myself leading to the best working .dpg converter if not the only working.)
Music must be .MP3 or .OGG.
This is based on the M3Real media player other players with other uses can be downloaded like Moonshell.

Thanks for swift reply..
I tried JPEG picture files, but photo was huge and over both screens, you could only see small section at a time, do I need to configure anything. Also ref movie files, you say you need conversion. Would that be from WAV. EVI or others?
Thanks

Well press start with the picture open and it shows options choose screen mode and then touch screen. The entire image will be shown on the touch screen(you may also move the window to allow you to open music and have it play at the same time as the picture) then press X or Y to zoom in or out. Resize your pictures if they are still too big and remember 256 by 192 is the DS screen size.
In reference to movies the converter has worked on every format I have tried so far including .FLV which is youtube downloads and .AVI so .WAV or .MP4 should be fine aswell.

2px black borders can help fix you top_desktop ~ Blackeneddove at www.ndsthemes.com
Moonshell09 has an encoder that works for movies. ~ The instructional manual in the help section of the media player
RTS is the way to save GBA game ~ handheld sources
HEXEDIT allows you to customize your M3Real more ~ M3Real forums at ndsthemes
Linfox domain is a good place to get your latest firmware so google 'linfox domain ds' and click 'im feeling lucky' or search and click the first link in order to get to the site.
After owning the M3Real for awhile I decided to give out a few bits of information I have came by in my time.
My largest problem was making skins because as long as you put the mode to indexed at the end it should be fine however my first skin still didn't work, The reason was that the M3Real cannot handle bright colours on the top_desktop a good freind of mine told me to add a 2 pixel black border to reduce colour and that worked.
I prefer to use the built-in media player(media extend) as it is more conveniant and moonshell doesn't have much compatability yet I was doomed when it came to movies but I found a way and that way is to download moonshell09 and use the dpgenc.exe on the movie file and it is the only converter that works. here is my own hosted moonshell09 as the only othersite with it was japanese and very hard to get http://www.ziddu.com/download.php?uid=Zq...qhkZSoX6qdnJWo2
Many people have had a problem with saveing DS games but at hhsource I found this
Steps:
======
1. Make sure the "gba expansion pak" has been inserted.
2. Select the "enable" from the "instant save" option after selecting the game.
3. Press "A+B+L+R" while playing the game to call "instant save menu".
and also just for intrest
Steps:
======
1. Prepare both nds and gba games. And make sure these 2 games are "nds-gba linkage" supported.
2. Copy the NDS game into the "nds" folder and copy the GBA game into the "gba" folder.
3. Make sure the "gba expansion pack" is inserted.
4. Power on NDS, enter into the "GBA game menu", select the GBA game and press "Y" to confirm. (It will load the game data into memory.)
5. Then, go back to the main menu, enter into the "NDS game menu", select the NDS game and run it as usual. The "nds-gba linkage" function should be activated.
If you download HEXEDIT (google) you can edit a file on your m3real so instead of saying GM MANAGER it will instead say what you want and this goes for most text too including default -> 1 can be changed to say 'save into 1' all you need to do is use hexedit on menu.eng and find the text and change it.
start at the rom select screen changes the source folder for games and mine has both gba and nds games set to the folder G:/games to neaten things up.s
Here are my regular 'go to' sites concerning the M3Real
firmware

JMarie I'm glad to help.
Now mdtw you have to leave dpgenc in the folder you downloaded it in so right-click and send to desktop(create shortcut)now double click the shortcut and a program will open. Providing you haven't changed anything it should work so thats why you leave it in the folders it was in at download. click the blue question mark and select a file then clock the green tick and choose where the new nds movie will go.
It should run with no problems now. I have just tryed it myself and my zonealarm firewall blocked it. and I also find that it helps if you tell it to save the file to somewhere other than the desktop(mine was sent to my documents) and it may be fine other than that its a file compatability issue.

Sorry to take up so much of your time..

that's odd?... you may have to download winrar if it is a .rar file but if it is a zip and you cannot unzip it then theres got to be something very wrong with your OS.

I can unzip, but does not give option for extract all. Should I start again. Sorry to be such a pain, Computer illiteracy doesn't help. Children wanting movies doesn't help either. Good night

I do hope I helped.
For wii games there is warez-bb who host on rapidshare but that can take a long time and needs you to keep clicking a link(once every hour and half or so) there is also blackkatz.org but thats invitation only and im not a member. there is another but i cannot find the link at the moment but i will post soon.

Would like some help with the usage of Action Replay codes...
I'm guessing I'm missing some important detail in the tutorial, because my Action Replay Code Manager won't save my games and codes. At all. It also won't connect to Codejunkies like the first post states, or create a "CustomCodelist.xml"-ish file thinger...
Could this be because I have yet to figure out how to update the MicroSD's firmware? Or where to find said update?
Help please? >:

firmware is found at linfox domain... just google linfox domain DS.
copy and paste the SYSTEM folder onto your SD card (I will forever assume it to be I:/) and replace the current SYSTEM.
I believe your problem with the AR code manager is not an M3real issue but a datel one because the AR software is blocked by some firewalls... disable your firewall or allow the program through your firewall and tell me how it goes ;)
