Hi,
I have a slim ps2 with matrix infinity installed. i have backup games and lots of originals that are online games. i want to play the originals online but have been told that as soon as i try and connect online my ps2 will be banned because its modded. does anyone know if this is true or how to get around it. The games i want to play are all originals.
Thanks

Well, i don't think it's true that you'll be banned.
There are to much players who plays online with copied games. And never heard that any of them 're banned.
And if you play a original game online, you can't be banned. If you get banned, you can call to Playstation.
But don't worry and just enjoy online gaming ;)

ok, if i want to play a backup online is it just a case of starting the game (without changing any settings on the modchip?) and then selecting the 'online multiplayer' option with my ps2 connected to my b.band modem and i should get online? Sorry for the noob question but i've never tried it before.
Thanks for any replies

I found one in backupscene.com.
But it's not really needed though because there is no one online and the game sucks on the PS2.
LOL Now I did finally find the edit button.

Just patch .iso on the computer with dnas patcher, after that, you'll be able to play online.
I'm using also a Chip ( messiah v2 pro ) and have no problem with playing online ;)
But you can't play Somim I, II or III online without an original disc, also MGS3: subsitance.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 (SLES_542.53)
(Size = 4,287,128 bytes)
Disc ID = XX XX 00 40 FC
the game loads and plays fine but when i go to play online it says an EA login isnt not found on my memory card so i choose "launch EA connect" then it reboots and says enter a valid ps2 disc anyone know whats goin on? or how to fix it?

u don't need the original disk, just create the online profile to play online.u must find how to create an online account which will be named as "EA login" in the memory card.
i have the same file name in my memory card but for FIFA 2007.
