Hmmm... wonder if that was a little biased(sarcasm)
It's all based on potential and not reality. The PS3 may end up being the greatest ever and if it is, I'll have to pick me up one.
I'm a little sceptical that it will be as great as all the Sony backers think it will be. I have an HDTV but it doesn't display in 1080P and I doubt that I'll be picking one up anytime soon with the prices of those TV's. Blue-Ray looks pretty good with it's large capacity and is supposedly faster but how much are these discs going to cost? I'll bet if the game doesn't require a capacity that large it will be on a regular dvd(blue ray drives are supposed to be backwards compatible with dvd9)

who the freak is gonna have two HDTVs in the same room for PS3s dual hdmi outputs, and if you dont have two tvs in the same room then its 7 controller inputs are useless because cutting the screen into 7 pieces would make each persons section too small unless you had like a 100" tv. and when are they gonna start releasing movies in blu-ray discs, last i heard the format war wsnt over yet and is not expected to be over any time soon. and about 1080p, how many people are gonna go out and buy a 1080p HDTV just to play ps3 on it, becaue i dont think you can get 1080p tv channels, also how many 1080p tvs are there, ive only seen 2 or 3, and they were very expencive. so unless you are a millionare that can afford 2 huge 1080p HDTVs then you wont have much use for some of these features, and if you are a millionare then you can go stick the PS3s controller(that looks like a dildo) up ur a**

dude you moron. the 1080p and the duals are future thinking. the interlace 1080 i is getting cheaper, and in the future the 1080p will get cheap too. they think ahead, unlike m$ that thinks of the now.

i hope you're wrong about a new system in a couple of years. if that is the case M$ will be literally wasting money on the 360. seems the 360 is already having a hard enuf time. hearing game developers yacking about disc size. get ready 360 fans for multi disc gaming. sorry, i can't imagine dealing with 4 & 5 discs for one game. i'll have to wait for the ps3.

it has a power pc processor, designed by ibm, made for the apple computers. ibm shafted apple and gave the chip apple payed to develope to m$ because of a big payoff. it has a 3.2 ghz processor with endless unneeded threads hat will not even be utilized completely untill after the next-next-gen consoles.
it has dvd, a format becoming insignificant with the developeing of hddvd and bluray. i am not about multidisk gaming for anything.
it has far more pipelines than the rsx. to a noob this would look great, but there are only 2 things per cycle. the rsx has less but with 5.6 things per cycle.
it does not include almost anything in the core model. plus two models? wtf just make 1 good one god. doesnt even have built in wireless. i could bring my (future thought) ps3 to anywhere and play it online since my town is wi-fi capable.
this part is opinion: the analog is ofset and uncomfortable. the shape is inward and makes me think of recession. the media scams m$ is pulling to make their system seem like god disgust me.

They can go even higher on storage DVD-18 disc can contain upto 15.9 gigabytes of data on each disc (2 sides)
A 30+ GB game,2 discs, nah there's enough storage space.
The xbox 360 on high def LCD is the BIz, once they use it to its full potential, it will be mind blowing.
You can have a great console and have crap games for it, kinda like sonys PSP which I have 2 off and never play, not impressed with the games, so far.
It always confused me why the american public bought Japanese consoles such as nintendo and Sony, when the Japanese gaming public are so anti american.
When I used to game with Japanese players (gamecube) the general opinion was they'd never buy an xbox because it was american.
Even though a lot of them said it had the best 'Live' gaming community and were quite impressed with it.

I copied it off IGN. Just like you most likely did with yours (however I could probably do a better job than IGN did). You seem to pretend you are not a PS3 fan boy on the other threads then you go and start this thread on the 360 forum?
Anyway in answer to what you think you know of the 360.
1) you dont know too much on the technical side and take into account everything Kookoo says because it is in favour of PS3. Kookoo is very technologicaly minded but you need a team of experts to have both sytems together and run performance tests to find out results on performance, which is why i dont take Kookoo's word.
2) Because you have heard what Kookoo has said on the technological side of things you think you know your stuff when it comes to 360. However this is false. You have a very narrow mind and have only looked a FMV or CGI of what the PS3 might be capable of. I have not seen any actual games yet which is why I am waiting for January to have a better desision.
3) You have only seen some 360 launch games. Have you seen in game video's of Gears of War, Mass Effect, Dark Sector? Have you seen all the pictures and info on the new RPG's created by the final Fantasy team?
4) Have you read into all the detail on what xbox live has to offer?
Then there is the disscusion of this big bad company. A company is formed from someone with an intelligent but very ignorant and cruel mind. It's called buisness. You have these big fat cats at Sony taking in all the money and wanting to take over large amounts of the electrical industry. Microsoft has Large fat cats that are put under the spot light, this then shows a company for more of what it is, a greedy money making machine. However you can see this with Microsoft and its biggest fat cat Bill Gates but you cant see this with Sony so to the ordinary public percieve Microsoft as the bad guys and other companies as the good guy's, quite a stupid way of looking at it, but people like you will not buy stuff from Microsoft.
ashj also has a good point. Alot of Japanese wont buy the 360 becuase its American. Shouldnt the Americans try to support thier companies just like the Japanese do? This seems to happen with everything else like cars and beer so why not consoles?
The controler is your own personal opinion but nealry everyone likes the 360 controler because its small, light, wireless, and all the buttons and anolog sticks are placed out correctly. The left analog stick being symetrical to the face buttons has been done for a reason. That reason is becuase most games will be using the left analog stick with the face buttons for the most part of the game. This is why the PSP has a left analog joystick but no right analog joystick.
If you have any doubt's as to what I know about the PS3 then please ask. I know a large amount, enough to know that at the moment 360 is that little better than PS3.

the xbox 360 has xbox live and its media capabilities as its main features, and you can read my earlier reply discrediting the PS3s features
Games
after looking at some screenshots and viewing some titles, the only game that seems worthwhile on the PS3 that isnt on the 360 is gran turismo and im not buying a whole new console for one game. and i would play halo over GT any day

Before I bring up some valid points I just want to say that I thought Microsoft have made two mistakes with there marketing. 1) They released the console in Japan before Australia and releiving the problems in the USA. 2)releasing the core pack at launch.
The reason I say the second point is because nearly every person that buys the console at launch is a hardcore gamer so they want the premium package.
Going on now to some points to why the premium and core package is a good idea.
1) 1-2 years from now, casual gamers and parents (for thier children) will want to buy the console but not bothered (would not like) the premium package with all the extra's. They just want a console to play the new games on, thats it. So they want it as cheap as possible.
2) Sony will most likely charge around the same price as the 360 premium package for thier console. This means with Sonys console you will get the console, controler and demo disc for the same price as the 360 with head set, 20gb harddrive, dvd remote, wireless controler.
Now you can see how Microsoft could have the upper hand on Sony, but I cant say this for certain yet because the price for PS3 hasnt been officialy anounced.

True. But then again PS3 will most likely cost as much as the 360 with the hardrive. Also all the xbox games will be backwards compatible, so there is no discusion on this subject really.

kookoo may knows some stuff technologically but not a scratch on what i know, half of the stuff he knows is because of me, and he tries to take my knowledge and twist it into PS3 supporting comments, and fails badly after i counter it, as he talks sh*t half of the time.
we have had some big ass arguments over which is faster and my points are FAR better than his, the 360 is cheaper (more cost effective) and more importantly is more powerful and has better games.
kookoo will ALWAYS say PS3 is more powerful but its bullsh*t. as ive proved amany times, (but he just doesnt listen).
i can thwart any PS3 fan who isnt loyal to sony (technologically).
the most powerful console is cheaper, has better games (and a better future lineup inc. halo 3) and is MORE POWERFUL.
kookoo can KMA (kiss my arse) he doesnt know sh*t about tech compared to what *he thinks* he knows, half of it doesnt make sense, and he contradisks himself a lot.
dont listen to him PS3 boys and gals.
ask me instead, (360 is more pwoerful, as ive said many times)
Don't judge the consoles by specs, more isnt always better, espec in PS3 specs.i know the truth, ask if u wanna know.......

i took some from him but most i got from research online. you cannot base a console soley on online. i do not want to pay 70 dollars a year for online wheni get it for free on the ps2 and maybe even the ps3. i have seen those game u listed and they are nice. not all the things u saw from ps3 are pre-rendered. some parts like the opening of the gt5 video are preren, but the in game was little difference. and have you seen the raltime videos for ut2007 on ps3? god its insane. you cant just throw away the idea of ps3 being better just because you have only used one console. you say the 360 is better, but do you truly know yet? can u honestly say you have played the ps3 to know those videos are not real time? have you experienced its online capabilities or used it in any way? no you have not. so dont go all "omg you know nothing anubis the 360 is better. i am such a noob cuz i know of one console and refuse to care about the other." you seriously need to reconsider the way you state things. learn everything you can about each system and wait for it ok? after the CES you should know alot more about the ps3. if you still then refuse to sompare and believe than it is you wou would be truly biased. i suppot both systems butwhen there are ppl like you i ave to counter your arguments to show you the other side. i ride the line till the day i know enuf of both, so i can see the tru victor.

My advise, wait and see what ps3 is goign to be like. See if those images were realtime. You just cant say that sony is lieing. You guys got no proof that they are lieing. Cant they get sewed for that? The getaway three, they said it was realtime, and i believe so, I also believe that kz2 is realtime. If not, ill probably change my mind about the ps3. But for now, ps3 is still better.

Sony have gone to no lengths to prove killzone was real time, it was what is expected of the ps3 (apparently) yes but not real time. Also sony getting sewed not a chance. Now if someone in this thread full of ignorant pple actualy DID some research in2 what the games look like on the 360 and the ps3 (ime talking REAL time here)they might find the graphics to be not that different (and ime not talking about looking at one screen shot of say the game gun for example and going "kuh-derrr the graphics r terrible")look at IN GAME graphics of gears of war, do some research. http://www.xbox360news.com/Blogs/News/hqs/blr_1305.aspx
