Hi
i tried searching this up but the instruction on swap magic are useless to me and i cant find any help that refers to this, any way i tried using a DVDRW disc to make a backup with swap magic but i just knew u cant u have to have cdr or dvdr
what the difference?? theres only 1 side of ps2 game what the cdr for
i am having big problems with slide tool how comes every one is able to put the slide under teh disc try and i cant i have the oldest version of ps2. Do i need a slide tool to boot cdr or dvdr
why would that be?
i know how to rebuild ps2 games using alchol guide thanks a lot for that. I now have an ISO image to write only on a dvdr or cdr.

For the flip tool (I assume you mean slide tool): Have you removed the drive cover from your PS2? It is the long, thin thing with the PS2 logo on it. That should be the only reason that you can't fit it in there.
For the media, check out the link that Creaky so generously supplied!
The reason that you have 2 SM discs is because some games are on CD and some on DVD. You boot the game accordingly (SM DVD with a DVD game). Most of the games out use the DVD.
For the burning speed: It depends on what the speed of your media is. If you have 8X DVD's, you will want to burn at 4X. If that doesn't work, keep moving down to 1X. In most cases, you won't want to go above 4X.
For the booting method: When the SM screen comes up, swap out that disc for the backup. Once the backup is in, you will press X to load the program. If you are playing a PAL game, leave the second line as Normal. You don't need to specify PAL or NTSC. Now, if you try playing an NTSC game, you will need to choose PAL in order to play that.
