Damn my internet connections seems pretty fast compared to some ive read. I maxed out at 4.7 with road runner but i almost never get fast download speeds using BitTornado. ANy one got any suggestion to what i should use to download Torrents? Can't choose between BitComet or just go back to the original Bittorrent although it never gave me the best of speeds...You guys say uve downloaded at 200Kbs and 300 kbs fastest ive gotten is about 150kbs n it dont happen often..got any clue why?

I'm not sure what road runner is, but if you've got a router, try that link I posted (the one before you).

And I recommend BitComet, but be sure to get the patch for that, some trackers won't let you download from them if they detect you're using BitComet.

COuld you give me the link for that patch. The one you posted some threads back is no longer working. I would really appreciate it.

PS
IM using bit comet and did the whole port forwarding thing I didnt see a "Dramatic" increase but i see one from about 2-3kb/s to 35kb/s avg so its an increase. Now im just missing the patch because i think some torrents wont open with Comet.

(funny how my PS is bigger than my actual message...)

I just checked out that link I posted and it works fine for me.

But as far as the patch goes, someone here on AD had posted the link for it awhile back, but I can't find it. I can send it to to, I'll PM you.

Just use BitLord, it's BitComet without the need of a patch, and it's spyware-free.

You wont get as good results as Dannyl89 if there aren't a high number of seeds.

There are 185 seeds and he's downloading from 84 of them.
