Also when downloading Torrents you need to be careful, so I'll post a list of good Spyware/Adware Removers out there the majority of files are geuine but some are Viruses, Trogans, Keylogging Tools.....etc
I'll begin with one of the best, Ad-Aware SE Personal, it's a very nice tool

Also When opening ports and you need to know if they were open,
So run a few tests ..............
1) go to Shields Up!!

2)Then click proceed 
3)
4)Hopefully you will see this
and this
Next you could run a NAT check http://btfaq.com/natcheck.pl
Type in your port number 65535 in my case
And hash of the torrent you need that, you can get it from the torrent site you get it from e.g go back to place you got the link from.
Hopefully you will get pass! If everthing is as i have told you have forwarded your ports correctly

hello J-Kwon! i have some problems with bitlord i've downlaoded it cuz u said its good but the highest sepeed i could get to was 10 kb/s. i wondered if u could plz help me???
my internet is 100 mpbs and usual download speed is 500 kb/s, but not for torrent downloads they r always so slow for me...y?/??
i'd really appreciate if u'd help me!

animeluva if you have 1mb Broadband your max is likely to be about 120KB/s, You need to ensure that you open up the right ports http://www.portforward.com has most of the answers. After you think you have opened the right port, look at my last post that will tell you if it's open.
What router do you have??
Try getting torrents of http://www.bitsoup.org or http://filelist.org, better chance of you getting your max if you use.
More info on the torrents your trying to download, no. of seeds, no. of peers,
Also what do you upload at? set your max to 20KB/s
mmmmm read through whole thread that will give you a few more ideas i think it's just a case of you opening your ports up, :D

Ye I will be moving to 8mb UK Online i just had a look around and it seems to be the best, I aint as lucking as you though i got a wait until feb. £30 for 8mb!! i thinks that's unbeatable considering no caps and limits anyways i just have to upload until feb LOL dailup would be too painful its sooo slow!
Bulldog seems to be ok i just dont wanna change my phone line.
And Hursty i have been overdownloading since the minute i got it so that bad news, i just chose the best priced package not thinking there was a download limit with it

dont worry about,i'm not losing any sleep over it,at the end of the day if you have had no warnings,then all is good,and carry on as you were
just tell them you didnt understand what a GB was,thats if they get back to you at all

Once youve opened your ports,
Speed is ultimately down to the number of seeders and peers
Then its down to your internet connection (dial up,1mb,2mb....)
Don't be discouraged when your in high 20s low 30s and have 10 seeders or less thats normal! its very rare that I get above 50KB/s with less than 10 seeders.

"I still get errors from tracker"
Some of common errors people get from the Trackers
error 10061 problem connecting to tracker - This means that you cannot for whatever reason establish a connection to the tracker needed to download a file. This is commonly caused by routers, trackers being too busy, or your net connection going down.
My download just sits at the ?connecting to peers" status
This means there are no peers to connect to, or your firewall/router is preventing a connection.
error 10060 Connection timed out - dis means that you sent a request to a peer or tracker, and there was no response. Again this error generally sorts itself out given time, and can be caused by a busy tracker. If it doesn't carry on after a bit double check the torrent is seeded and the tracker is working
Problem connecting to tracker - <urlopen error (111, 'Connection refused')> - Just let the torrent run in your client and the client will keep checking the tracker and should resume eventually.
I got stuck at 99% with several seeders - Try stopping the torrent and restarting from tracker :) that should work
If anyone has any different errors post them and i'll try and work out what they mean, and how to solve them :)

Another thing good about newsgroups is no seeding!!
I was going to get into that sort of stuff a couple of months back but i thought F.[_].C.K it, I'd rather wait than pay. But if you constantly max out it might be worth paying :)
I'm just looking how long left with Wanadoo, I have been with them for 1 year and 4 months now with the same package, but does your 12month contract start again when the next year starts. cos the price has gone down about £5 since 4 month ago. I'll ring them up some time and ask them if I could finish with them at any point see what they say :P
As for torrents, any one struggling I'd be happy to help :P :) :>) :<) :-) :/

have you checked whether you can get it?
its not available everywhere
if you go down the newsgroup route,of which i am trying to find out some info,i heard on 8 mb,you get around 800 kb/s
thats about 5 gb for 1 1/2 hr (i think)
i have been going now for 5 1/2 hrs on a 1 mb,i have downloaded 2.4 gb

Yes i can get it, 800KB/s that will times my current download speed by 10
you could probably get a film within an hour! using that setup.
and songs in seconds, i think I'll go for it, I'll double check that i can get it

I can only get up to 2mb!
How does it 8mb is on your comp it says 30 on mine, but it also says 2mb is 30, I'm confuzed! Do you know of any others besides UK-Online that offer 8mb?

Have you set your max upload to 20KB/s?
What site was the download from?
Have you connected to tracker okay?
