it isnt paper you know even though its weker then the 360 and ps3 it still has hardware 4x stronger then the gamecube (it was on google news after the e3 when ati was interviewd about their hollywood gpu in the wii) the contoler will also cost how much is 512mb flash memory about 30-40au ati also said that the games all were just tips of an iceberg of what wii can do graphically. i really doubt that it isnt worth 200 think of this how much is the ps2 5years later?
How much is it to build a computer the power of a wii?

Ive been a big fan of the Sony recently but for the next generation of Consoles I am going back to Nintendo .. they have allways made the truly classic Systems and for me Wii seems to fit all the things I am now looking for ... it will probobly be the last system I get so I hope it lives up to the hype ... (the controller is what originally hooked me on the system)

@oofRome and i agree with you on that. It cost lees. I remember an article that was talking about that and it said that the wii could be made for about $175. I need to get a link to back that up though.
My opinion however remains the same $250 is quite fine.

Well that is fine that the Wii is making money off their system's because it must not be a lot because Wii is already only $250.

Well you see MS and Sony have game divisions of the company that can take a loss and the rest of the company picks up the slack. Nintendo has no such luxury as it's sole purpose is making money off games so it can't afford to take a loss on hardware sales

That's a real plus especially for ppl like me that's getting one of the other two system (or both or already have a 360). The lower price of wii games will give your aching pocket a little break.

sup guys here what I think .. Big N has been in the game a longg time and this is what keeps them in it thats hustling lmfao . they make money instead of losin money which in the long run adds up its smart , that way they can keep cost low and keep growing in the long run to experiment with new ideas well like the did with the DS and now the Wii while still having money in the pot . They dont gamble like Sony or Micro

Finaly no cheapo cords like for the GBA i paid $20 for a little cord with a controler plug on one end and a plug with screws on the other side, LOL

I heard that you would be able to download game demos for the DS via the Wii. Also you will be able to use the DS as a controller on some Wii games.

Yah i like the sound of that, just there isn't many cool games...i mean nintendo makes like horse riding with barbie, and alot of games simliar, i just duno if id like the game selection.

No they have 127 games scheduled and every Ea game thats on Ps3 is on the wii too and you are confusing yourself wiht the ps2 that was the only console that had barbie horse riding games nintendo makes cool games like mario, nothing can beat mario
