One problem is that our programmer complain about pin#36 on all chips we have tried to read.

Maybe my new programmer is bad...have anyone else tried to read the tsop?
Hey Hansi, where did u get the reader/programmer of the tsop?

Can i ask, not only for paper mario but for all updates, i know that you have to have the updated firware, but if one day your net goes down and you put in the game will it be ok? I've heard that you need to be connected to the net. Thanks.

if you have the same region wii as the game you will be fine without internet access as it will be the correct region update and hence no brick

if its different region well u have a good chance of a brick unless u know ur firmware is higher than the one on the disc

i have 2.2E

when u are fully updated via net
put in paper mario
it will STILL say it wants to update - click ok and in a cpl of seconds it starts the game
Can someone verify this? Especially the last part. Because I have 2.2E and Wiikey so I tried playing paper mario. It did say it wanted to update and in a fear of bricking my console, I ejected the DVD.

@Bondator

You will be fine as long as you have the 2.2E already updated on your PAL Wii.

First of all hi to everyone since i am a new member.A lot of ppl write that you need to be online as well in order to avoid bricking.I'd like to know if there's any truth in this claim.Also i'd like to know if there's any point using brick blocker on SMP.

Thanks in advance,
Jon
