yes, good question, do you know the name of the cabe?
i'd like find some soluction to move the headphones, the cabe that it use isn't mini usb and i can't know the name...
if you find some Bluetooth Headphones that work just to listen music please let me know

If you have a Nextel SIM card, why not put it in and try? This is a GSM phone, though. Doesn't Nextel use IDEN?

when you put the nextel chip in, please let me know what happens. I am very interested, seeing that the phone does not have the direct talk feature. And also if the service on it is clear. thanks!

Hey guys,
I tried putting a Cingular/ATT sim card in to my P168 and its coming up saying Emergency where it is supposed to say the carrier. I have 2 of these phones and it does it on both. But if i put my tmobile card in, it works fine. Any clues???

Just some info, anyone who has nextel/ sprint or verizon, the companies wont't support the phone because they are cdma networks and not gsm networks. if you have cingular, t-mobile, not sure about altell, is should work pefectly fine.

Ok Ive found the settings for anyone with t-mobile to access the internet
1- Main Menu click on Entertainment then click on Services
2- Click on Data Account--> click on GPRS
3- Choose any account--> click on Edit
4- 1- Account Name
TMOBILE
2- APN
wap.voicestream.com
3- User Name
leave it blank
4- password
leave it blank
5- Auth. Type
Normal
CLICK ON DONE AND SAVE IT
CLICK ON BACK TWICE IT WILL TAKE YOU BACK TO SERVICES
5-Click on WAP --> click Settings--> click Edit Profile.
6- Choose any one on list then press ok-->Edit Profile
1- Rename Profile->(name it anything or u can name it T-mobile GPRS)
2-Homepage--> http://wap.myvoicestream.com
3-Data Account-->Select-->click on Gprs--> you will see the one we named earlier TMOBILE, select it and press OK
4- Connection Type
HTTP----then change the to Proxy: 216.155.165.050
and port to 8080
5- Username
leave it blank
6- Password
leave it blank
CLICK DONE AND SAVE IT--->CLICK ACTIVATE PROFILE AND SAVE

Ilive in Maryland & have cingular/att service ,but my phone keeps saying NO SERVICE. I have tried to change the network to att but have been unsuccessful.Phone says UNFINISHED.I have an english manual but it is unclear. Im not sure if it is bad reception or the phone is not registering? Is there anyone who can help?
