More research...

Found this link with currently released images (ISO or GCM) and the loader version tested with expected results.

I had the same problem. Until I switched to a 10/100 Switch. I was using a crossover cable. I spent 3 days trying to make it work. Now that i use a switch, it works everytime.

I have no idea what that link is. I understand English only. But the Switch I mentioned is a 10/100 HUB/Switch. Regular old network hub. Please do not fill this thread up with bullshit posts. We only needed one question not four.

Finding / Buying BB Adaptor

I am in UK & I cannot source a BBA from a retailer; the word here is they have stopped manufacture of the BBA. Is this fact or fiction? I don`t see many places in USA that still stock them so it may be true. I can still get one from the USA via E-Bay ( I hope)but @ $60us.. The whole project goes to **it if no BBAs available, or do our techies have a clever solder job to interface to the port? All info appreciated.

I have heard that BS too. You can order them all day long from www.ebgames.com And the shipping is fair too.

Thxs shank69ox BUT still not UK/Europe. All info appreciated.
I see elsewhere that some of the developers would like a usb2 I/F for the GC. If the brains have cracked the proto then lets hope its not too long b4 the adaptor becomes just another piece of cheap & easily sourced "cable" with the clever bit in the PC not in the BBA. Would this remove some of the hub / switch issues also!

You can also order the BBA with the following link http://www.outpost.com/product/3844807/ and they ship worldwide.

I found mine at a local GameStop and bought it used for $24.95.

How do you use the psul 1.1 software? I am terrible with dos. I get the list of things the software does, but i do not know what to do after that.

Will any 10/100 switch/router do? I'm not hip to networking stuff. I've gotten Pong to load. That's it. I haven't successfully ripped anything. The largest rip stopped/froze at just under 100mb.

Sorry.

Although, I guess the question isn't so much which specific switch or router will do, so much as which ones won't do. Thanks. Sorry again.
