Package 2:

Edit: These do!
These look like the executable for Nero 6.6.0.18. Is this to dl the upgrade? I only have the CD key for my version. Do they honor the upgrade to 6.6.0.18? Do you need both packages or are these just different ghost sites? The 2nd ones looks like a diff. program.
Thanks for your help.

There is no Nero 6 version developed to support Windows Vista. However, Nero 7 is compatible with Windows Vista since version 7.5.7.0. Do not use the installation disc. What you need to do is run the Nero 7 Clean tool if you're experiencing any setbacks during the set-up. Afterwards, download/run the installer for version 7.10.1.2.

Hi guys. Dvd decryptor, dvdfab, and a lot others didn't work for me, so I downloaded anydvd, and since I usually rip the dvds onto my hard drive, then convert them for my ipod, I don't want it to be split up into 4 seperate parts, like it is with anydvd. Is there anyway I can fix that? I've never had any problem like this before, and I installed a bunch of new programs, and so far anydvd is the only one that worked.
Thanks in advance! =]

ripping this locked up my computer (well locked up the drive).
dvd decryptor, dvd shrink, ripit4me, dvdfab and the newer updated replacement of decryptor all failed horribly bad.
i finally used anydvd, ripped with decryptor, ignored the read errors and the failed patching of files, ran fixvts on the directory then dvd shrink would finally open the folder.
newer discs are a real pain in the butt. when will they ever give up trying to stop us. if a copy protection can be invented, then it can be broken.

things to check
1. could be a bad/scratched/dirty dvd causing it not to rip even a finger print can cause problems. check the dvd
2. use clonedvd along with anydvd
3. sometimes box system (Dell,HP,etc.) with preloaded software can cause conflit problems. or you have hardware problems.
the DVD will backup fine, so its a problem on you're end

Truer words could not have been spoken. I ripped this movie when it came out with dvdfab. You should have no problem with it, as long as all your programs are up to date.
What newer, updated replacement for dvd decrypter? Decrypter hasn't been, nor will be updated.
As brother ZoSo said, it could be a bad press, which is the only thing slowing us down from ripping the disks.

ok, i am tired and couldnt remember the dvd decrypter program. its imgburn. it is identical to decrypter but updated.
and yes the disc was rather scratched. stupid netflix.
system is custom built. i have 2 different dvd burners, one of which is one of the first ever released and has done a very good job reading damaged discs.
there have been times that a usb pen drive caused read errors. also a usb hub would cause some issues.
this time most likely a damaged disc. it was just odd though that data reads were corrupted but playing the movie was perfectly fine. my old burner would not read the disc period, my new drive would read it sometimes. exploring the files would take minutes to load, but hit play on a dvd player program and it took right off playing.

Well, the programs tend to not work on dvd's that YOU DO NOT OWN!! Paying dues to the neighborhood netflix association does not count.

Wise choice. Well as long as Netflix do actually sell discs.
