I got an Iso Of kingdom hearts 2 i backed it up and I burned it on a x8 Dvd-r Verbatim using dvd dycrypter the mode was iso write, now I got swap magic I opened it up on ps2 I swaped the disc and loaded program and it says not a valid ps2 disc I burned the iso with no errors whats the problem with it, thanks in advance =]

I have got swap magic version 3.6 with dvd disc cd disc and dvd disc, I burned it at x2 and x1 and x4 I used DVD-R verbatim discs :) and none of them worked hope you guys can help...

Well, they are not fakes anyway.. I think it must be your console. The lens will need cleaned/repaired/replaced/re-calibrated or the game may need rebuilt. More on all that in my guide.

EDIT : Are you sure you are doing the slide correctly? Do any other backups work? Have you rebuild it?

Oh how do you rebulid the game, or how can a game be rebulit lol..
the other disc of games i have got scatches so they stop :/ I want to know how to rebulid a game please and I will try again and see if it works, then if it doesnt i will tell you, and i also used the slide properly :)

well just to let you guys know kingdom hearts 2 needs no rebuilding
I burned it on maxell (pretty much the best dvds you can use) with DVD Decrypter at 1x
3 possible reasons why it's not working
1. your brand isn't the best in the world
2. the iso file is missing files, sometimes you can write without getting errors
3. as said before your lasers might need fixing

Doesen't matter what you are burning, the disc quality always stays the same, and it doesen't matter in the slightest what region it is.

Those files there are correct and in order, none are missing, and providing you are writing to high quality DVD-R (less than 16x) at half the maximum speed or less, then it should work, otherwise it is an internal problem with your system, you should consult my guide on cleaning your PS2s laser/recalibrating/replacing the laser.

Hmmm is there any way to clean the lens without opening the ps2 :)
