Hi guys , since I started one on the Ps3 , I thought I would on the Wii . I dont know if any else showed them but this is my first time I'm seeing the Wii box and the console powered up . It looks cool as hell ,Im loving the blue lights and all the goodness feel free to post news, links, pics and the whole nine

What is it with you and boxes! Anwyays yeah the box look's pretty slick with white and then just silver printing. I like that... The disc is also cool how it say's Wii.

I like the Wii box and the color of the console. lol for some reason it makes me think of clouds or peacefull thoughts maybe they will make it to were angels fly from the clouds, and bring them to us or our stores lmao .Well Face I guess I have nothin better else to do and its my first time seein the cloudy box ,you are right it looks very cool and slick I love the thought they put in it.

yeah the writing is cool but you might have to order it from Japan if you want it like that , but what I like about the Wii is the fact that Nintendo looked at those other sites with case mods and modded their case with blue leds and the controller as well . Also about the clouds above is why I like the theme they went with . or maybe ol Sony gave them an Idea since the Ps2 was the first console with blue leds ?

My guess is a Tutorial Disk just to make everything simple for first time users. I'm also guessing it has Wii sports on there, considering it couldn't take up too much room on a disk.

good point Rome ,well im sure we got down to the bottom of the mystery disk lol . if not hell Wii soon will know by Next month because by then Wii will Rock you ! . thats a nice slogan they should use that . well I guess I can ask which colors does everyone play on getting or want ? , I kinda like the white its so peacefull

My guess the disc is just a showcase disc if you remeber the ps2 had always a disc in its tray that was blue from the top on every showcase it might also be a demo disc or sumtin but i think its just for promotional purposes as when you go to the official wii site it has that disc and a gamecube disc but the gamecube disc has a gamcube logo on top they dont sell them either
Different colours will come next year but those ceartain ones are not official today the only official colour is white but nintendo has announced it will make other colours but no one knows what colours.

@ dazila great point that is tru it might be a showcase disk indeed ,also I hope they confirm all the colors but .. the green one I dont like that one it should be blue ,or maybe a darker green . I think if they did launch with a color selection they would sell like hot cakes lol even though they still are anyway. I still like the white one most though , yeah your are right only the white one at launch thats still cool with me . two thumbs up !

One question that i have:
I dont have a wireless network i have a switch but no router my modem supports usb and ethernet instead of buying the usb to ethernet to usb adapter for the wii or buying a wireless router would it be possible to plug the usb from my modem straight into one of those usb's on the wii and still make it work

nice question Daz im not for sure from all I read its just wireless connection maybe someone else will pop in here and have a full answer for that question . It would be cool is you could do that because I dont have a wireless connection right now either lol

There's a wireless usb dongle you can buy for the DS WiFi that you plug into your computer.. I'm pretty sure you'll be able to use that with the Wii too.
I have no idea if you can simply use a usb cable to your modem. I would guess no :\
